Hey Anthony, i've followed and did everything you said but logic is not responding, im able to record and its recording but no sounds coming out of logic when trying to play what ive recorded, Can you pls help?
I tried it with no luck as well, moving the controller to group E did though so in the midi batch section on Maschine I set the root note to C-1 and that moved it down to group A (If you hit the pads in midi controller mode in Logic you should be able to see what midi data is being sent from the different groups on the transport bar) but for some reason the first 2 notes (C-1 + C#-1) aren't working in Logic at the moment...
Logic is not responding to any midi input.. i did all the things you say and i put my maschine in midi-mode and nothing... logic is not responding... i need this pretty bad because im sick of the maschine interface and creating beats in there... i want to get it out into logic... help!?

Thanks for the Vid. My question is I get everything working fine. But when i want to send midi from maschine to another instrument track to record say to track 2 to have seperation I can't get it to work. Any suggestions. Thanks
maschine doesn't come up when i go to open it on the instrument track. when i click just under i/o, all that comes up is a load of buses that i'm not using.....anyone know how to rectify that?

@03killak Im actually using a mac..I use the maschine mikro and in it are buttons f1-3 on there..I have to hold shift and f1 (has the word midi on top of it) and group E to get it to work..it might be a little different if u have the regular maschine
Tried this and wasn't able to get Logic to trigger Maschine sounds once hardware was set to MIDI controller mode (Shift+Ctrl). Then watched this video and found a simple solution. Select GROUP E on Maschine controller (in MIDI mode). Once I did this, everything seemed to work accordingly. Try it out. Hopefully this helps.
@IZMAYHEM hey I just found out how to stop the preloaded song...at the bottom left of maschine controller on the screen there's a button that looks like a refresher button...click that and it will clear the preloaded song

Is there a way to put each separate drum sound to a separate track in logic? i.e. Kick on track 1, Snare on track 2, hi-hat on track 3 so that they can be mixed in Logic? How are people who are creating beats in Maschine moving them to Logic to properly mix ?

@03killak yea i did..it worked when I had everything set up to group E. so do everything he says (the whole sound to MIDI notes thing) and then hold down shift, F1, then Group E all at the same time and it should work. I'm trying to get it done to other groups but for now I'm just sticking with this.

Hello thirdmaster and thank you for watching. As for your issue while in midi mode, make sure that template 01 states "new template". if that's not the issue then make sure that if you use a kit or otherwise a group, that set it is set up using midi batch set up "sounds to midi notes. as for that sing pad, it's probably a sound loaded into that pad and not a group. perhaps try putting the maschine into pad mode before going in to midi mode. hope that helps.
@anthonyguitarsav @thirdmaster I swear that what happened to me right now. Pads work when you turn off the midi mode, but when I, "Shift+Control" all i see is lit notes and no sound...FML

As far as the note being very low in volume, open up the NI Controller editor. under Maschine controller, go to the mid-bottom right of the screen and under "pad velocity cure" use soft 1and that should take care of that problem.
