Manowar is...and forever shall be my favorite metal band.....there are other great metal bands that can be "close" contenders....but IMO never on the same level of this band...

Too bad not enough demand here in the states for them to have the kind of tours they see in Europe and abroad...it'd definitely be worth the drive to see them live..
