Girls are so great and now a days girls can make just as much or more money than the boys, as adults. No one can tell that just because a boy is born into the family, they will not be poor. It is really sad and unnecessary. Education is key here.
easy solution, if families can just either foster or sponsor a child even perhaps adopt....in islam however you can adopt providing that the child maintains its birth parents name and is informed of them.....

I also know a woman in Ireland who gave birth to 7 girls and got beaten by her husband each time a girl was born.
Then a boy was born DEAD.

And on the top of it if you look at it biologicaly its males sperms which are the cause of babies gender

Same in Ireland- girls are not wanted- especially on farms.
It is the fault of the old Patriarchal society worldwide.
