A great effort mate, but in 1975-7 when I patrolled these platforms, they were 100times more interesting! 24s 25s 40s 47s an odd 50 and AC Electrics 81-87 all on freight & passenger and all in BR Blue - ahhhhhhhhh those were the days!!!!

Believe me, I know the pain involved in standing at Wigan NW for hours with nothing to do when there is hardly any freight running.

I've done it enough times - It really is almost tourture in these days of Bendydildos and Voyagers!

There was a few freights at night like the 86s on Coatsbridge to Basford Hall and a ligh 66 and a 60 flew past too.
