@Kilandra741 I agree...we did the same with our first daughter and really damaged her hair...it did not grow nearly as fast as our next two girls. We always tell Lily she was our little guinea pig. Anyway, the thing about biracial kids is they all have very unique hair. You have to get to know each child's particular hair type.

But do use only natural products...

Ntral products are expensive and DO NOT make your hair grow faster. How you treat the hair. Nothing you put on the hair makes it grow faster. It has to do with your diet, stress levels, and vitamins. If your first daughters hair did not grow at fast as the others then hair products is not to blame. Hair grows from your scalp which is regulated your body.

I started trimming Summer's hair when she was around one or maybe before that. She was born with a very full head of long hair. Since most children are bald for a long time I wouldn't know when to start for them.
