  • Clever, but no.

  • nada que ver!

  • Big deal lol lotta bands start off like that :p

  • fear factory = brutal rhythmical blast beat

pantera= awesome original metal hardcore beat

  • MY FAVORITE BANDS

    Master DIME

    Master DINO

  • It's a different type of scream.

  • this videos fucking stupid.

Dimebag Darrell said it as it will always be - "We're not stealing riffs. We're sharing riffs."

    R.I.P

  • you cant even compare the two bands there different they sound completely different

  • Hahahahahaha, check out my song Hideous Mystery

  • ...Seriously, man? They're screaming over the first few seconds, and their guitarists are playing a fast riff.

That's not plagiarism, that's just a commonality of the genre.

  • The guy who made this ridiculous comparison should be shot.

  • that's so common. it's fast drumming and guitarring with a scream over top. that's like saying playing one power chord and holding it is being similar.

  • WHOA THEY'RE BOTH SCREAMING.

  • comprate un par d orejas!!!!

  • wuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh. tatatatatatatatatatatata

  • Never compair Fear Factory with Pantera, they're to different styles of metal.

  • Not similar in the least the only thing slightly just slightly similar is the screaming which aren't even that close at all because it's a different type of scream

  • most metal bands scream. pantera and fear factory dont sound similar.

  • dude your on drugs!

  • FFFUUUUUUUU!!!1!11

  • Did you change the pitch of the pantera song to match the fear factory song? ...

  • @Wtbafsd yes, i did

  • @unida76 wow that sounded like 1000 other metal songs, were these 13 seconds all what you found?

  • Dude, you're so right. Fear Factory DEFINITELY tried to imitate a single part of a single song on a single Pantera record that came out 14 years ago. They waited that long because they figured no one would notice!

Except for you, unida76. Because you're so brilliant.

  • ¬¬ what a waste of my time!

  • ¬¬ what a waste of my time!

  • the songs have different tempo and beat, the only thig similar is that they open the song with screaming (so does every death metal and black metal band) your argument is moot because you apparently have such limited knowledge of metal.

  • ahahahaha, you're kidding right? bahahaha

  • fail

  • Comparison FAIL

  • uh....observant?

  • I'm Hungry!!!

  • LOL, i could list several other songs, that begin with such a scream. -.-

    Similar??? Well.. not really. XD

    FEAR FACTORY!! ;D

  • I love both bands but there is no comparison. Pantera is power-groove metal and FF is industrial death metal.

  • You dumb ass. That was just your typical Death Metal growl....so what's your point?

  • for those claiming that fear factory owns pantera...get some new ears....no comparison..really...

  • OR... now I'm just trowing this one out there... you could go fuck yourself?

And anyone else who gives that much shit about comparisons.

  • at first sight you may be right and I agree that comparisons are stupid as hell..but I cannot stand people saying that fear factory can be compared to pantera..even iron maiden or metallica cannot compare to led zeppelin or deep purple..they're on a higher level anyway..of course though you lose all of your opinion's truth by telling me to fuck over my self..you know that's not everyone's habit as you may think...;)

  • No, Fear Factory does engulf Pantera in a cult, intellectual and even at some points, power sense. Fear Factory dwarfs Pantera.

  • @SocialDissimulation

It's two completely different genres, though, so there really no comparison. Not even close. So out of the two, FF is definitely heavier. Bone-crushingly heavy!!!

  • both great bands, so what's your fuckin point??

  • GET A LIFE !

  • Pointless fucking video.

  • you can do this Exact same thing with hundreds of bands, and 5sec clips from each song.

besides, FF digs the shit outa pantera, and pantera was one of the bands that inspired them. both rule.

  • pantera is shit, fear factory rules!

  • @ThunderFarts420

hahaha yer pantera sucks thats why they were the first real metal band to debut number 1, sorry to the metallica fans but the black album was not metal compared

  • FAGFAGFAGFAGFAGFAGFAGFAG

  • What a waste of fucking time. You're an idiot.

  • though i like both....fear factory is my favorite, leaves pantera very far....

  • you suck!!!

  • LOL! You have to be kidding me?

Yes, they both have intense intros - but the same? No way!

  • in the metal's world there are 198674264135464087867463546468 songs that starting like this two song...

  • @MXDeCurtis It is the trademark for every Metal band.

  • @MXDeCurtis In metal's world there are 0 bands that rocked like Pantera

  • There's countless metal bands who've opened up songs with a wall of sound.

  • pfffff, SYL tambien lo hace

  • These were the first two bands to get me into metal music and that is an awesome comparison haha.

  • Both these bands rock to the max, but this is just one big epic fail. More or less think of what fear factory did here as a tribute to Pantera's brutal power and not a damn ripp off, goddamn I hate that word.

  • Haha.. This is dumb.

  • Maybe you'd have a case if it was a bunch of songs that sounded identical, but this is one riff that's kinda similar... Is that it??

  • They sound nothing alike... a ton of metal songs start out with a similar intro like that anyway for both Fear Factory and Pantera.

  • not quite

  • pantera are the kings of metal anyone whos says dif is dumb, but fear factory is fukkin awesome 2

  • Lol FF and pantera similar??? NEVER!!!!

  • bullshit

  • no.. is maybe kind of the same idea but not the same

  • I can name another 50 songs that would be similar to that.

  • I'm waiting...

  • @unida76 Abigail Williams: Empyrean - Into the Cold Wastes

    Aborted: Meticulous Invagination

Agoraphobic Nosebleed: Kill Theme for American Apeshit

    Birdflesh: Handicapitation

    The Black Dahlia Murder: Necropolis

    Cattle Decapitation: A Body Farm

    Diabolical Masquerade: This Ghoultimate Omen

Haven't even gotten through D and there's already a ridiculous amount of shit here, plus the multitude of songs I likely missed.

    Go home.

  • wow. when i saw the title to this i thought you were going to compare the riff in 'Christploitation' at 02:57 with the riff in 'Strength Beyond Strength' at 0:34 off the Far Beyond Driven album. Picked that instantly.

  • Nice nice, you beat me to it. Now to combine both of these and make it my new Windows 7 startup sound. =D

  • Comment removed

  • and????

    ass and your brain.Similar? ;P
