Is Governor Haley Barbour too Fat to be President?

He has a big head but he doesn't seem that fat. It's good to know that we have such high standards for who we vote for. Should the right to vote just be abolished?

I agree with you completely; Presidents have to be role models. Obama, Bush and Clinton were all known to be fitness enthusiasts - it demonstrates discipline and self-control. To be overweight implies the opposite. Plus people generally dislike seeing fat people: it's nothing personal, but humans can't help but see their fears embodied in others, and many people fear growing overweight, which is why fat people are often given such a hard time.

@Elrich89 Thanks for writing this. Since I posted this video, Chris Christy was elected Governor of NJ and he is HUGE! So maybe I was wrong.

@tjwalker Oh yes, I forgot about Chris Christie. He seems like a likeable guy, though, and exceptions do happen. How many other very overweight politicians are there in the US? But I still can't imagine Haley Barbour standing next to Obama in a debate and look more Presidential...

@Elrich89 There is a difference in people's standards the higher up the political ladder you go. I can't imagine Barber standing next to Obama on a stage and coming out looking good, but stranger things have happened.

He could easily lose the wait, but interesting point about Taft and what not. The other problem with Barbour is that he has a southern accent, America has a problem with that. The ticket could maybe be Palin/Barbour, Jindal or Romney can't win Iowa, Who knows what will happen, please respond and please make more videos
