However the few times i've i've been at a vocal trance night, I work in clubs sometimes, I've been struck by the hegemony of the crowd, the almost Wagnerian soaring vocals, the 4\4 march type beat, participants raising their arms in unison, & thought this is somewhere a Nazi would feel at home. this is something fascinating trance has as an intrinsic charakter. something magic. it can produce a feeling of being together and feeling as one. it is the only music genre that really can produce exactly this, even in commercial discotheques. it has nothing to do with "nazi" and the like. besides, techno/trance/progressive are the only kinds of music that can be calles "apolitic" => just being here and celebrating is the concept. nothing else...
