@ip3600 was just saying that these engines are pretty well built, and i bought a fiesta 3 months ago, test drove it and bought it, got it home and next day checked the oil, only to find out that it was empty of oil! so i topped it up to max on dipstick and all is well.
can it cause damage to other engine components. I sudenly started noticed this problem in the exact day I was driving to make the oil change , going up a hill at 100km/h
Nice engines these, i've never drove a more livelier car than the Ghia fiesta...119,000 miles, and much to my shock when i recieved it, there was no oil in it!!! Topped up, done 90 miles in three days, no problems!
