do you have one of micky waters seeing that he is the best kickboxer on the shorai team and in that whole event. Personally i thought you beat the small cocky guy i was rooting for you was loving it when you started raising your hand it was about time people started giving him some of his own medicine.

it was a "light contact" event however in the changing rooms the promotors told us they were letting the power go, no warnings for power so basically full contact :P
I say this (previous comment) because you show great technique and are outworking your opponents, but the sidekick is more of a pushing kick than a really damaging one. I think if you just switch up once or twice in a fight to 1. fake the side kick, 2. throw a lead hand jab, and follow with 3. a back leg roundhouse to the head, you'll be knocking people out =)
as always thanks for the kind words and advice mate. I fealt happy with my performance but like you say after watching it a few times im really over using my lead leg side kick, i think against a more skilled opponant theyd realise what i was doing. need to drill my left leg kicks more in sparring!

If you don't mind a few suggestions though, it seems like you use your front leg side kick as a jab quite often. I think if you switch it up once in a while to using your front hand jab, it would change the range and specifically set your opponent up for a back leg roundhouse, especially since they're used to trying to rush in from your sidekick range.

sometimes fighting a different opponant will make you look much better or much worse depending on how your styles and skill match.
