@MagicMan1860 hit, you needs tons of hit. after you get 26 experties reforge every piece so it has crit, if it already has crit reforge whatever the other garbage stat is to hit. Just don't kill your experties. at 16% hit i can literally use heroic strike every time i bloodthirst.

That said; I hate dps'ing dummys and I suck at it. I do a lot better on live bosses for some reason. So I'm with you Efilon.

i rly dont get why the modern population of the world needs to trash talk every single person. Devil made a good vid about fury war-rotation-gear-procs etc etc. Magmaw aint worse or better example than other fights. Some are melee friendly and some are range friendly. and dont forget blizz have yet failed about gear scaling. so when wars reaches a stabil 30-35k dps in this exp ppl will still whine about it. And since so many failz rolled war cause of TG flashing, try help each other out instead

The reason why i stick to arms is that i do the same DPS as you with 349 ilvl

tried fury a bit and was just unable to get over 12k dps, but as arms i can play around 16 k on dummy

@didalmina Did 28k+ on Heroic Magmaw last night. According to World of Logs only 8 Fury Warrior in the world did more. So, i think my rotate is good. Source: World of Logs. Look for "Titans gone Wild" on "Exodar -US" I'm also in the Top 100 on many fight. Have a nice day. And feel free to post a video response of your amazing DPS.

@devilsqc Magmaw is a terrible example of DPS. 2 reasons, 1 its 10 man and noone takes 10s seriously. 2 if your Rdps is high enough to kill magmaw in a head phase during execute range with procs up, youre obviously going to get a good DPS number. Someone doing the same job but better, could get shafted if they carry their guild and miss that head phase in execute. Also, 15k with sunders/flask/food is low... you should be doing closer to 20k with that on a dummy.

@devilsqc If you're saying 10s are harder than they were in Wrath, then yes. If you are saying they are harder than 25s in Cata, then no. Even if 2-3 fights are harder than 25s, the rest aren't and after taking into account every facet of raiding, 25s > 10s. Also, while 39th is decent, thats another fight thats terrible because most top guild/good raiders stopped raiding that after the first month and/or do it on 25s anyway for more loot drops. Twin dragons is arguably the best to compare with.

hmmm, i use alota heroic strike in my rotation, i have 1 pvp item ( Vicious Gladiator's Bonegrinder) my ilvl is a 349. in a random heroic i pull from 15k-30 per boss, depending on which boss. in raids i pull about 15k-18. overall my gear is pretty shit. i see heroic strike as a fkn awesome dps boost overall. but yeah leme know what yoo guys think of heroic strike.

Just a wee little problem with any fury rotation. All it takes is a crappy rng day for u and there will be no procs. I remember one time dpsing 5 mins on a dummy for a test and had literally 2 battle trance procs and like 4 bloodsurge procs. So rng plays too much of a role in fury imo; i can sometimes do like 18k over 5 mins and at other times only 8k. Good spec only for lucky people imo.

I have always pvp'ed as a warrior but when it came to raiding i would always be on my hunter. But now cata is out and with the guild rep and stuff i wanted to stick with one character, i decided my warrior cause i want to keep the pvp rewards and such, but im not entirely convinced that its a lot of fun to dps as a fury warrior. Do you find it to be much fun? Also does it pull big numbers a lot of the time?

One of the reasons I don't like about Fury is the standard CD for Colossus Smash and the dependency on Cooldowns to expand your DPS higher. Also, you're missing one of our important talents = Battle Trance. Lots of Warriors don't even care about it.

I like this guide, but one thing I wanna add to this is that I've read some interesting things on EJ pertaining to delaying CS... You want to use it your first open GCD you get, simply put; there is no current scenario where waiting for 60+ rage to use CS is a DPS gain. Just wanted to add that as a thought. :)

i would like to ask your about death wish + recklessness.when i use my cds in a boss fight i allways have to stop dpsing or the boss starts to focus me, it really piss me off every time i want to max my dmg i have to ask for HoP(that pala bubble) not even salvation can stop the boss from not getting on me is it my guilds mt who is doing something wrong or is it me? my dps is about 11-15k whit out cds and maby 22k when i use cds never tryed a boss fight whit out stopping dps

@devilsqc To add to this: You've only ever 'needed' 8% hit, it was just a matter of hit overshadowing every other stat pre-4.0.6. Now that stat priority has changed, which is why it is best to stick with 8% hit but also remember that if you have excess hit on gear that can't be reforged not to reforge it off for haste, per sé. This doesn't mean reforge away from above 8 hit, simply the priority has changed to Crit > Exp to 26 > Hit to 8% (yellow cap) > Mastery > Hit to 27% (white cap) > Haste.

your rotation is bad you keep using bloodthirst before raging blow and losing your enrage thus wasting good dmg also you are not using heroic strike when u should be you could bring your dps up about 2-3k if you use a propper rotation
