Forza 3 is a great game but this guy is a complete fool. He spouts so much bullshit it is unreal. The best looking racing game? No. The most amount of cars in a racing game? No. The definative racing game of this generation? Thats subjective, but to be honest.....no. GT5 fucking obliterates this shit.

i played this game is good but no the best game, they made the exterior very good but they didn`t made a so much good interior, and the fisics feel the same than in forza 2 (exepting the back traccion cars). and the cockpit that they are showing in this demo is not the final version cockpit.

Why would it matter if it didn't have shifting animations in the past? They added it now and atleast Forza has cockpit views for ALL their cars. Not all GT5 cars will have cockpits.

IGN is just one site. Metacritic and Game rankings takes the average of atleast 30-40 reviews for a final rating. Forza 3 has a 92% on both Metacritic and Game Rankings. It's a very good game. Polyphony Digital of gt5 pushes turn 10 of forza 3 and its also the other way around. For some developers, the need to out-do the competition is prevalent, but then look at companies that do projects for the passion of making something that they love and want to share. I would give examples, but I'm not being specific. There are tons of factors that we can't even take into account. What's important is that a good game is a good game, period. It's pointless for someone to bash games JUST because it's not what that person's playing.
GTA IV isn't a simulation. It has good driving for a sandbox game, and it was revolutionary in its own right when it came out, but as for a game that REVOLVES around driving, it can't compete.

I like GT5's graphics and gameplay imo it is more realistic simulator than Forza 3, however, Forza 3's customization and community plus all the features are really cool that what's make the game great. I have a PS3 though and I will buy GT5. I might buy Forza 3 for my cousin he has an Xbox 360.

Forza2 has BETTER physics than GT5P. The Forza series has beaten the GT series since it started. Ive always owned a PS2 and preferred Gran Turismo to Forza for some reason but i just bought a 360 and cant wait for Forza. Im sure GT5 will be great too but it's taken them wayyy too long to make it. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Id rather pay $238 for a 360 than $650 for a PS3 (thats in Australian dollars) Final Fantasy is going to be on 360 also so Xbox ftw!
may i add that GT5 runs at 60fps too also in 1080p CONSTANTLY unlike forza 3. very few games that have been made do that hence why GT5 has been in development for such along time look at forza 3 its taken less then half the time. and come on lets not forget the fans for the GT series its gran turismo we are talking about here the best racing sim made its series has already sold over 60million + on the ps1 and ps2 and the fans go wild for it.
I really Liked gran Turismo. The problem with it is that the Physics leave room for desire. In GT, I couldn't get a good enough feel for the cars. In Forza, You can get a better feel for body roll and nose dive under Braking. The Sim Ability of GT3 was Best out of all GT's In My opinion. The rest have an Understeer Feel. Forza Fixes that.
Have out looked at the physics of forza. The widest tires you can put on a 7000 hp chevelle are 275's. That's begging for tire smoking action. You can have 325 series tires on a 966 HP pontiac solstice, that's begging for traction trouble too. So, There you go. it feels oversteer-ish, because you can build cars that do exactly that.
Forza is going to kill GT in reviews. Its just the better made game with tons more features....just like the previous 2 Forzas have beaten Gran Turismo.

i know now. but the game has 30 more frames to react on then if it was 30. 60 frames 30 new possibilities of making a swift turn where every bit of a second may count. and when the frames slow down, the whole games slow down(in some games.) thats why i thought i could see the lack of frames. but it was more the game playing a bit more slow-motion.
so you are right with the fps thing. but reaction time on the controlls is a matter of fps to. (LOOONG massage :P)

gt5 = utter crap, my gaming time was about 10hours then i totally lost interest of its one-sided gameplay and ridiculously bad car physics. My setup was on a 50inch plasma with ps playseat. However i thought the graphics was very detailed,
forza 2 = just incredible amazing racing game for a non fm fan, give it at least 10hours and ull be totally amazed. Im still crossing my fingers for gt5, not sure how it will turn out or when?

Polyphony Digital of gt5 pushes turn 10 of forza 3 and its also the other way around. Forza goes for the more casual aduience with easier modes and more ceativity ,while Gt goes for an audience that craves great sims and hardcore physics.I have played forza 3.Its a great game to play and I enjoyed it,.but I cant wait to play Gt5.

For some developers, the need to out-do the competition is prevalent, but then look at companies that do projects for the passion of making something that they love and want to share. I would give examples, but I'm not being specific. There are tons of factors that we can't even take into account. What's important is that a good game is a good game, period. It's pointless for someone to bash games JUST because it's not what that person's playing.

I like GT5's graphics and gameplay imo it is more realistic simulator than Forza 3, however, Forza 3's customization and community plus all the features are really cool that what's make the game great. I have a PS3 though and I will buy GT5. I might buy Forza 3 for my cousin he has an Xbox 360.

The AI in gt5 has been improved alot! Insanely agressive (If you want to). when it comes to graphics, its all a matter of opinion.. Ive always owned a PS2 and preferred Gran Turismo to Forza for some reason but i just bought a 360 and cant wait for Forza. Im sure GT5 will be great too but it's taken them wayyy too long to make it. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages. Id rather pay $238 for a 360 than $650 for a PS3 (thats in Australian dollars) Final Fantasy is going to be on 360 also so Xbox ftw!

I really Liked gran Turismo. The problem with it is that the Physics leave room for desire. In GT, I couldn't get a good enough feel for the cars. In Forza, You can get a better feel for body roll and nose dive under Braking. The Sim Ability of GT3 was Best out of all GT's In My opinion. The rest have an Understeer Feel. Forza Fixes that.

Have out looked at the physics of forza. The widest tires you can put on a 7000 hp chevelle are 275's. That's begging for tire smoking action. You can have 325 series tires on a 966 HP pontiac solstice, that's begging for traction trouble too. So, There you go. it feels oversteer-ish, because you can build cars that do exactly that.

i know now. but the game has 30 more frames to react on then if it was 30. 60 frames 30 new possibilities of making a swift turn where every bit of a second may count. and when the frames slow down, the whole games slow down(in some games.) thats why i thought i could see the lack of frames. but it was more the game playing a bit more slow-motion.
so you are right with the fps thing. but reaction time on the controlls is a matter of fps to. (LOOONG massage :P)
