Where is my soul, where did i lost it? Some say its in the pond, others saw it in a sidewalk, and a bird told me it was diffused in a bonfire long time ago. I am still searching for it. Looking for a soul in the marshes, i wonder if it will take long to find.
Always like the "authentic" Baroque sound. The version of sheet music in my collection the top section has 1st & 2nd endings. The first time you play 6-8th notes Eb-G-F-Eb-D-Eb with left but on the repeat you would play 3 notes Eb-Bb-low Eb with the left to end the section instead of the exact same 6-8th notes as here...
Also,to you all who scream "Fake" just because one braindead person claimed it: You suck. Big time. I did notice a slight lagging of the audio, but his finger movements and the audio track match. You want to tell me that both "screwed up" at the same time? Also, you can see by his fingers alone that he can play the piece, so WHY THE HELL SHOULD HE FAKE IT? repeating: You. Suck.
@checo64 everyone yelling fake is retarded as hell. yes, there is a slight audio delay, but if you have any functioning brain cells in your head, you will realize that his fingers and the notes do match up. the audio is behind by just like half a second. USE YOUR HEADS. COME ON.

That's because Bach used counterpoint so well with different voices. So pianos, which have more tonal expression than harpsichords, can capture Bach's tonality very precisely. And the huge range of notes he uses in any piece lends itself to all sorts of interpretations. Bach was a perfectionist, but her left few notations for how to play his music, as if to say "it's all mine anyway, and you can't destroy its beauty".
i love the clicks of the keys, like and old type machine. Bach is a strange creator, he wrote his music for this very old and primitive instruments, and when you play him in modern piano he reaches his maximum expression, as if he had composed for a future time than the one he was living. yet this is also great to hear. keep making videos
Sorry can't be agreed with that ... ever heard Badinerie on the piano ? That's sounds really amazing !! but ok thats my opinion like you said that bach doens't sound on piano but i don't agreed

EmilyRules971 8 months ago
@EmilyRules971 The upper is "Piano"
The lower is "Forte"
Harpsichords don't have a touch feel ;)
Just incase you don't know.
Piano is = Quiet/Gentle
Forte is = Loud

I don't think he is a strange creator! When he lived,it was just baroque period and there weren't any piano but only harpischord.

First, Harpsichord is not primitive instrument! Second, Bach does not sound good on piano!
mrharpsi 2 years ago 23
I agree!! this performance is beautiful:) much better than piano
Frost69 2 years ago 3
hey now i wouldnt go so far as to say he doesnt sound good on piano he sounds good everywhere haha
but on a more serious note he does sound much better on a harpsichord the sound is so pure and is truly the most beautiful music ever made

Although I am a huge harpsichord fan, I must disagree. Bach sounds perfectly good on a piano. But it can't be a harpsichord.
mobscene9305 2 years ago 4
@mrharpsi I really prefer to hear Bach's Works on Harpsichord than on Piano, it sounds much better.

@mrharpsi Bach sounds good on everything ; )

@mrharpsi The harpsichord is a fantastic instrument, but i don't agree with you. Bach sounds good on any f**ing instrument.

So i have a question, what's the difference between the top set of keys and the bottom?
masked1one 3 years ago
Yeah, originally I thought it was just a higher octave but when he moves up the notes don't transpose at all, they sound the same.
Same question here.
