@KebbyTheProphet you use a 40x or 100x scope to look at the trichromes close up. once the heads of them are full and for the most part are standing straight up, the plants ready. the more trichromes that are straight up and down with big heads the better

let it finish. and when you trim it wait for a few days so it dries a little. you can junk the fan leaves but the faster it dries means less flavor and hasher smoke for you.

but not all purples have purple in it /the texture

@craigo101 lol most strains have the "potential" to turn purple... it doesnt even have to be a "purple strain".... Also the reason some purps dont turn purple is because the temps arent cool enough for it to change color... A friend of mine grew some purple diesel from next generation seeds and he lowered the temps to 65 degrees during "lights out" and his shit came out dark purple.. the leaves and all..
