  • that guy needs his ass beat

  • the guy that deliberately pushed the other one should have his on bike stuck inside his ass hole.

  • it take's a while till they see it was not a way of saying nice job but that Andy Lakatosh is a sore Looser.. xD

  • too many riders in the race

  • What a douche.

  • i think 50% of those who liked this is because of the girl....hahah

  • Don't overlap wheels on the inside if you are behind someone, 2nd, never ever touch someone's handlebars....

  • o u kno he MAD

  • I don't know what happened here, but I would not be surprised if carney slowed down and caused the first crash on purpose, he's done that to my friends and I, just whilst we were warming up cause he was pissed... mean I've just read that he might have slowed down in some of the comments below

  • I love the t town track, but Jame carney is an idiot, the last time I rode with him he got really mad at a bunch of juniors for no reason and was cussing at all of them and cutting them off for the whole night haha

  • I hope Lackatosh never "congratulates" me.

  • My only guess is that she races and she was just putting some bike shorts on. But, yeah it looked like she was whipping up her drawers after a shag under the bleachers.

  • there is a freak at 6:47

  • @imperial3232 Learn how to spell idiot, idiot!

  • @imperial3232 wel imperial 3232 sounds like you have a problem. wanna talk about it?

  • welcome to t-town...get em' laky

  • that's fucked up. track racing is scary enough...

  • I was so happy for Marty when he won that gold in 2000 cuz I grew up on railroad st in trexlertown and he was my hometown Olympian. I never thought he would be involved in an incident like this

  • is it typical for these races to last only a few minutes?

  • No, they may last for many rounds. Races with teams where they race while chaning between teammates, the teammates who aint racing will just be riding the course in slower pace to recharge. And it will go in laps.

  • Dear janey. I read my comment again. Maybe u should. I don't see where I "condone" anything. I have raced at T-Town. I was a team mate w/ Pat McD. And G. Hatton. I've raced @ Hellyer,Alpenrose, San Diego, Dom Hills, and a temp plywood track @ Madison SQ Gardens for a 4 day. Just about every velo in the US. All I said was it gets very tense. I only raced track for three years, but was pretty adequate, but by no means a star rider, like you. My specialty was mass starts, like madisons and devils

  • Keirin Carnage at Lehigh Valley Velodrome free at W W W . TV-Video . us

  • was the bird at 6:50 getting shagged during the race or somthing? hahahahah

  • If you've raced track as much as I have, you would know that tempers run high, and fights, intentional crashes, hooking, and childish behavior, happen quite often. There is more drama than the road, and spectators get to see how rough bicycle racing can be at times. Keirins and miss-and-outs are especially vicious. Also, rivalries develop between riders who have several incidences over time.

  • @arklat: I don't know where you've been racing track, but where I come from that kind of behaviour has never arisen. It's most shameful of you to condone such an attack.

PS: I spent many years of my life on the track so I know what I'm talking about.

  • gotta love the chick putting on her underwear @6:50

  • hahahaha nice catch

  • LOL bike perv...

  • epic find

  • I noticed that too!!!lol

  • did you see what i saw at 6:51

  • Is that a skirt, or a jacket tied around a waist?

  • I think its a skirt

  • Her ass!! xD

  • lol hahaha suscribe superman34521 plz watch my vids

  • "could not have been deliberate...lakatosh, a very nice guy..."

  • fuck that guyyyy.

  • i didnt realize that bikers could be like hockey players... LOL

I thought they were all lanky wussies...

    my mind has been changed...

  • Track cyclists are the hockey players of the cycling world... well I guess MTBers have the armor, but they don't race cutthroat like this.

  • lol at 6:55 you see that girls ass when she pulls her skirt up

  • pause it at 6:52 lol!

  • You guys don't get it...on these bikes, if you stop pedaling, you stop. Watch the first crash, the guy in front purposely slows his cadence out of a heavy sprint, probably because he knows the other guy has a stronger finish, and crosses his front wheel...dumped him like an ugly prom date. The second crash where the guy pulls the "winner's" bars at the finish line is retaliation and it keeps getting better every time I watch it! Buncha dirty mofos!

  • i hope he got banned for life and fined. what complete moron. lol overlessly he has anger issues. o yer he will kill me that sounds like a f___king lonetic on the loose. MarinesPilot25 ur a dick for saying that he goiing to kill me and thinking doing what andy did was OK

  • oxymoron? yes. You just defended Lakatosh and then went ahead and said he will kill you. Are you retarded or something.

Not only is sasquatch guilty, I hope he got a fine and banned. We don't need idiots like him, and like you.

  • haha

  • Lakatosh man you need a serious ass kicking

  • O_O!!!!! dude pulling at handlebars at finish: major a-hole.

  • whoow

  • bad behaviour... sad...

  • First crash looked like an accident or at least a fault on the passing rider who allowed his front wheel to overlap the rear wheel of the bike ahead of him. If your overlapped like that you need to get your front axle ahead of his rear axle or contact will cause a crash not a bump. Second crash was assault. People go to jail for less than that.

  • the only person to push me off my bike is now dead.

  • To CyclingStar, were you watching the race or the girl putting her pants on at 6.48??

If you had a brain you would know that the guy who crashed came underneath. Grow a brain and stop posting bullshit comments...

Or race and u will know what its all about.

    Thanks Peace out..

  • @cyclingstar11 So in having this opinion you shouldn't be allowed to race yourself, or whatever your connection is at trackside. There was a guy in London used to cut us up in the sprint in the closed road races, he did it to me twice, straight across my front wheel, after the second time I told him the consequences would be dire if it happened again, off the bike and not endangering others. And you don't even identify people properly, just name them. first names second names nick names?

  • look at the girl putting her panties on at 6:48 ha ha

  • what an idiot.....

  • I enjoyed that!

  • I think the guy on the motorbike is the cheat tbh.

  • When they showed the rider on the ground at 3:46, I thought his right leg was broken. But, I suppose that bulge was just a big leg muscle.

  • k hijo de puta

    picaillo

  • I am unclear on the incident. The original crash was a total accident with one rider looking to take another rider's line. I don't understand the reason for the retaliation.

  • lol it's true

  • For all you "6:49" retards...the boys and girls don't just sit TF around in moisture laden shammys [sick]...they get on with life. And it sometimes requires puttin' your fuckin' civies on.

  • What?

  • WTF kinda language are u speakin... wtf is a laden, shammy and civies???

  • He means that they don't just sit around in their sweaty cycling clothes after the event.

laden means to be filled with a great quantity of something.

I'm assuming a shammy is the tight cycling stuff they wear.

and civvies means their civilian clothes.

it's really not that hard to figure it out.

  • thanks

  • ". . .shammys [sick]..."

Someone got a giggle out of that; in case you were wondering if anyone would even notice.

  • LOL! at 6:49 the girl is putting her panties back on.

  • $300="nice chunk of change"

these children can ride pretty well.

the grownup event must have been great

  • first place prize money of $300!

  • sportsmanship at its finest!

  • hahaha, 6:47, girl in plaid skirt, WTF?

  • wow, this is just as entertaining as nascar!

  • 6:49 - what's that girl doing?

  • lol!

  • well spotted, sir... clearly it all got too exciting for her...

  • Dirty stinking race tactics by Jame Carney and his team mate Friedman. Really got everyone going ape, both on and off the track. Lakatosh went a bit too far though, but was satisfying to watch though....

  • 3:35 hater pure and simple

  • Bikes all the time, Alpenrose Velodrome rules!

  • I agree, the kid B crashed himself. Carney didn't come close to hooking him, the kid was just to close and didn't protect his front wheel. I raced crits for almost 20 years and this is the way you learn to protect your front wheel--it's not the responsibility of the guy you are drafting, it's YOUR responsibility.

  • lol!!! at 6:50 the girl in the skirt is caught putting her chonies on! lolly!

  • man good observation there...LOL

  • lol nice...

  • A World Cup track racer that is a friend of mine brought this race to my attention. According to him Jamie slowed down intentionally which you can't see to catch Barshefsky of guard in order to bring him down. Unfortunately, Lakatosh took his hands of your bars which you never do. I learned this first hand in a State Championship. He should of taken care of this some other way.

  • I don't think there's any way that a guy leading a race going into the final turn is going to slow down deliberately just to catch some wheelsucker off guard. Regardless, Barshefsky needs to watch his front wheel better.

  • i was there that night

  • Oh, I just read a story about this (comes up when you search youtube for keirin), and I got all the names wrong! USA cycling sanctioned Lakakosh (?-damn), who tapped the bars at the end. Sounds reasonable, as the race was over (he should've done it during race, ha, ha). I now appreciate the fact that Carney is known to be aggressive. nuff said.

  • I don't know what passes for good sportsmanship in the Keirin, but maybe, if riding agressively erratically is considered fair (obviously, it can help you win), then maybe so would a tap on the handlebars after the finish - which is exactly what Macintosh then dished out on Carney. If Carney knew what he was doing during the race (and it looks like he did), then he should've watched his back after the finish; and he did not.

All's fair in love and war,

    and Keirin.

  • Then Carney makes his move at 3:22, and Kurtz (?- yellow jersey) immediately came around from 4th place to get on Carney's wheel. Then Carney does it AGAIN, decelerating strongly for an instant (or maybe he's just sitting down from his initial jump/sprint) - but in any case, Kurtz (yellow jersey) didn't account/react to this change in pace and ran into Carney's rear wheel and crashes.

  • You can see Macintosh's front wheel overlapping Carney's and he's obviously having some difficulty not getting tangled up in it (this starts happening from 3:17 at that point both riders were briefly, but sharply decelerating - in track racing that is not obvious, because the pedals always turn).

  • ouch, looked more like the guy who came second hit him instead of congratulating him

  • That was pretty damn bogus. LoL around 6:47 to about 6:55 you can see some chick pulling up her panties in that plad skirt or whatever that is.

  • i hope that guy get sued!!!

  • The biggest tool was the guy who won by throwing the block....looked like just desserts to me and self correcting, no need for official intervention. Ya wanna twist someone up deliberately? Pay the price and don't complain about the cost. The look over both shoulders was incriminating. Yep it's supposed to be a peaceful sport, except when you cause carnage on purpose.

  • I agree, at 3:17 you can see Carney (white jersey) still in second place, dropping back and weaving a bit, obviously trying to create difficulty for Macintosh (in third, red/green jersey). I don't know enough about Keirin to know if this is considered fair play, but the effect would certainly be to disturb the following riders' pace, if not cause a crash, and that would be an ideal tactic if you were about to make your move, which is exactly what Carney then did.

  • Who are these two commentator tools? They keep insisting it was an accident until they (sort of) change their tune at the end.

  • That was a really toolish move by Lakatosh.

  • This is all that Lakatosh will be known for...certainly not his racing skills. Carney wasn't wearing #1 by accident. fuck t-town, it's sucked for a few years now.

  • Oh what a fucking cry baby!

  • how fast can you get up to??

  • in the appropriote conditions 45mph(not kph)

  • nice crashes!!!

This so very exciting racing!!! I did´t like attitudes by Lakatosh.

  • yay for underwear!

The handlebar grab was totally unacceptable.

  • The first crash wasnt carneys fault. It's a keirin and barczewski was all over carneys back wheel and overlapped it underneath. He had to expect to fall if he's such a rookie and went inside suicide, lakatosh's actions are inexcusable no matter what happened, he should have gone the fist after not on the bike if he was a real man.

  • No, the announcers aren't dumb asses. I've been going to the Velodrome since I was little, and that is going to look like it was meant congratulatory at first. Guys are always doing that after races. It was only in the replay that it really looked intentional and that he grabbed the bar. But the announcers are actually pretty good at the velo normally. But I'm not sure who was announcing that night. It's not always the same.

  • LOL, dumb ass announcers.

  • Wow, it's so disappointing when people are such sore losers that they crash fellow riders intentionally. Things like that shouldn't be tolerated and he should be banned for at least a few years.

  • These two announcers are two of the biggest dummies ever. Sometimes typical of a lesser sport...A great sport that deserves better...

A five year old could tell RIGHT away the "accident"

    was intentional...

  • carney has a reputation for being an "overly agressive" (some say dirty) rider and unfortunately it looks like other racers are starting to retaliate. the girl was wearing a sport kilt and changing from her racing shorts.

  • anyone else notice the girl at 6:53 pulling up her underwear?

  • black undies are the way to go.

  • what the hell was she doing with her underwear down?

  • I think it might have something to do with spandex racing shorts...maybe she's a racer. You're not supposed to wear underwear under your cycling shorts...but I couldn't tell you for sure. LOL

  • Well, since she's wearing a skirt, I doubt she's a racer.

  • Um...maybe she changed into a skirt after she raced?? What expianation do you have for her pulling up her pants??

  • I used to race at T-town and being a woman we would use anything to cover up to change out of our cycling shorts into our regular clothing so we would not miss out on watching the races going on around us. If you notice, she is wearing a racing jersey.

  • What a fucking dick.

  • agreed!

  • The first crash was simply a wheel touch - always bad news. The finish incident certainly looks deliberate, but it's hard to believe. Trackies have to trust each other they ride so closely together. Strange they used a motorcycle rather than a proper Derny pacer as we do here in UK.

  • cycling is gay

  • fuck you

  • and is that why your watching this in the first place ?

  • I suppose thats what the 'roids does to people! I see the first crash as nothing more than a 'racing incident', however the grabbing of the handlebars was totally reckless by that rider and he should have been banned for longer than six months.

In the meantime, that poor guy who was lying on the track for minutes got caught up in all this and probably had a broken collarbone.

  • well isnt keirin supposed to be like roller derby?

more people would pay attention to the sport if there were some throwdowns like hockey.

  • Cycling has alot of that crap...it sucks.

  • High quality entertainment!

  • dude, what a douche bag for doing that shit.

  • What the hell is that woman wearing a plaid skirt in the foreground doing at about 6 min 50 sec?

Also, why do they run a motorcycle in front of the pack for the first couple of laps? To decrease air resistance? to keep pace? is the whole race just a lead-up to the final two sprint laps?

  • Yes, all of those. Without the motorcyclist there would be loads of tactical jockeying for position, nobody would want to go hard at the front of the group and the pace could be too slow to begin with. It might end up being a bit like a the 2 man sprint competitions...

  • Well, ummm, looks like she is putting her panties on. I'm wondering what was happening BEFORE then... :)

  • She's probably changing out of her cycling shorts.

  • That's probablly not a woman, but a guy witha sports kilt changing out of or into bike shorts.

  • Damn! That's a pretty horrible thing to do.

  • Cant see much wrong with the initial crash. The bumping and boring was a bit rough but nothing too outrageous, but pulling the winner down ? Why??

They would have been hitting 30mph +in the sprint.

  • Bad blood dude.

  • Shows that neither of you do any real racing, thats just how it goes out on the velo. probably 20-30mph, and the bikes have no brakes.

  • so roughly how fast were they going?

  • Wow, crazy.

having just crashed a couple of days ago and still suffering some pretty severe road rash this makes me angry. The one guy should be suspended.

  • Somebody needs to get charged with felony assault.
