  • whisky and soda is a classic drink and has nothing to do with coca cola or sprite. why does this come top when i google whisky and soda?

  • coca cola or sprite? certainly not, certainly not...

  • I'm 16 and let me tell you, Mr Bartender. When someone wants to mix Cola or some other soft drink with Whiskey, it's because they want to get drunk. Just give them something cheap and charge for something expensive. =)

  • thx 4 posting this.

  • this dude is ridiculous

  • Canadian Whiskey is VERY underated

  • @leafsfan9917 I have had Wiser's and it is disgusting.

  • @MajBlood I had a Wiser's and I liked it. Honestly you could have come up with something more creative. I personally love all Whiskey except Bourbon. That doesn't make Bourbon disgusting, its simply my opinion. Furthermore, if you sample the cheapest whiskey of that range you are likely to find it less satisfying than the older or rarer blends. I'm sure the 15 year old Wiser's Reserve would be more intriguing.

  • up 'till now there was only one whisky I needed to mix with coke and it was Grant's - that shit is f*king foul!! But I'd never mix a single malt with soda, even if I didn't like it (can't think of a reason why though:P)

  • the customer is always right: if they want to mix a single malt with coke fuckin do so and charge them accordingly...

  • @bmr21021975 its a cardinal sin to mix soda with a good single malt, if you want to mix scotch and soda use a blended

  • @Beamos12 i agree beamos but u are missing the point...

  • @bmr21021975 ok i see, lol id charge them 4 times much for being stupid

  • @bmr21021975 Yeah but if you go to a nice whiskey bar you expect recommendations from the bartender. It's up to you if you wanna listen to them or not after that.

  • @bmr21021975 If a bartender isn't doing me the service of providing the occasional tip on enjoying my beverage, I might as well be serving myself at home.

  • I really enjoy a glenfiddich,or a Johnny walker, basterdising it with soda just doesn't make sense to me, a lil water or ice is all it takes, dont get me wrong a jack , or crown and coke every now and again is good too, just my opinion people.

  • eeh...neerrrm...("dunno", "more random crap"...) sighs sligtly while fidgiting...errrmmm again. Need to work on your presenting style and research and plan the vids better plz.

  • Eeh..aamm...uummm....

  • You guyz should deffinately try mixing Jack Daniels with Red Bull.... and a half a slice of lime... it`s magic :X

  • You must be making a killin' with that attitude.

Little tip, people don't like being insulted, especially when they're going to give you money.

  • That's what I hate about YouTube: no one can tell when you're kidding.

  • Since when was giving advice, considered an insult?

You don't seem like a very constructive person.

  • @Maximuuh

This is youtube... the last kind of person I expect to find on here is a constructive person ;)

  • @slowmonkey156 As right you should. I would rather give up a tip than watch someone mix a sigle malt with anything.

  • SPDDDDRITE!!!!

  • ROFL

  • I think famous grouse isn't the most famous schotch whisky, I think Johnnie Walker is far more famous.

    Good vid anyhow!

  • I prefer Chivas, myself. But I admit it's often a matter of preference.

  • how can you just screw up in a 15 year old (or more) whiskey in a glass of coca-cola xD.

  • Certainly not with Pepsi, but you might consider mixing with gourmet sodas(Pure Cane, No high-fructose corn syrup) such as Jones brand or a few others. Very high in sugar, though.

  • I could listen to a loop of this guy saying "SPDDDDRITE" all day long.

  • imagine eating the best cooked meat ever had with mcdonald fried potatoes at the same time...

  • why shouldn't you mix coke or n e other soft drink with n e type of whiskey? Jack Daniel's and coke is like my favorite drink... I don't see the logic.

  • Its because Scotch whisky malt is supposed to be savoured and is not intended for other 'mixes' unlike JD which is intended for a mix.

  • oh, ok, thanks, man.

  • You can mix things with cheaper types of scotch, but certainly not single malt, if you plan to mix any thing other than water with a good single malt, you may as well be drinking cheap whisky.
