Every time I see black artists on BGT I realize how very different they are from American blacks. I'm white, nearing retirement age and have lived in the US all my life. There are so many blacks here with scary antisocial problems. There is a cynical mentality that has created a very obscene music form. I know I'm going to get a lot of flak for this comment but this is the way it is. I'm open to intelligent feedback from smart people of color who can tell me where they think this originates.
