Perhaps the sheet music you use includes those incorrect notes, but you'll find that if you listen to the game version, some of the notes in the melodies you played in this version are different from that in the game- I would take a look at those and correct those if you have the time.

While I feel as though you should play it as you wish, I would suggest practicing the song more until you can play it more precisely during the portions in which you are faster than in the game version- I'm sure the incorrect notes you are hitting are due partially to this fast pace.

Altough you mostly hit the correct notes, you've totally misunderstood the song. You are rushing the song, which just totally destroys the feeling. Listen to it on mp3 a few times and practice some more.

I'm sorry, but the way it is played sounds rushed. The tune is suppose to be a little bit slower then you are playing it. Also there are certain times where you rush the keys, then slow down, then rush again.

Have you tried the Piano Collections version of this song? Since you already know this, it shouldn't take too long to learn the harder version, and it sounds a lot better. Go to ffmusic/ffshrine/org (replace the /'s with .'s) and look down at the bottom in final fantasy 8 and it should be there in the piano collections list.
