  • thank god everyone survived

  • 3 people say dis-i-like!!!

  • @adytaitt

    I can't tell if you're a smart troll or a stupid christian

  • @adytaitt

why wasn't your loved God making incredible things happen on September 11, 2001 around 8:45am?

Explain to me - were his protective angels on lunch break that hour? The pilot isn't a little piece of YOUR beloved god, the pilot is skilled and knew what he was doing. Put anyone else behind the wheel and they would crash that plane regardless of what your little angels did.

  • So is this plane on the bottom of the river?

  • @squierkid No they took it out today.

  • @Nikitalaur he was not fired.

  • He's a pilot and was on the news for saving a bunch of people, I doubt he'll have trouble finding a new job

  • @Nikitalaur I don't think you have any idea of what you're talking about.. he was not fired..and you're grammar is so horrible that you must be 12 years old. it's matter not metter...he "chose" not to do not it..not "choice" and it's everyone's not everyone..and it's "unemployed"..not "unployed"..FACT CHECK AND PROOF READ BEFORE POSTING PLEASE.........!!!

  • God bless the pilot!!!

  • Money for what, surviving a plane crash?

  • Great pilot.

  • Professional pilot.

  • 1.Put both of ur hands on ur chest

2.Think of someone that u like......

3.Tomorrow that person will ask you out or say i love you.

  • wow this is insane

  • nobody..

  • he was just asking question and he got negative. good god no one died in the crash

  • i dont think so

  • Do you think a Boeing aircraft would had floated so well than this froggy one ?

  • I heard that it was some passenger who opened a rear door which let the water in and flooded the plane. Very smooth.

  • Hmmm, opening the door to get out after crashing down from the sky?! Shame on that person.

  • I read the same, but you really can't blame them. at least it was non-consequential. (as far as injury goes)

  • projectdarkgrey : oh dude! you are probably a very sad person. You are a "verbal murder". People become verbal murderers for several reasons. Some "verbal murderers" (like you) act unconsciously—they couldn't tell you why, but something deep within their psyches allows them to act in such a toxic manner. Other murderers are quite conscious. They know exactly why they speak to you the way they do (Verbal Self-Defense

    by Lillian Glass,)

  • The pilot is the real HERO here...calm and collected all the time, even during the communication with the air controller. COOL man.!!!!

  • i was on this plane... it was like omg omg omg omg in my head but it was really quiet when we were goin down

  • was this before or after you shit yourself??

  • lol your stupid

  • Let's just be truthful here, shall we? What evidence do you have of my stupidity? I'll answer for you: none.

  • omg, so was I!

  • wow i bet this was really scary

  • that pilot saved alot of lives....he deserves a medal ...

  • He had the skill and rationality to plan and carry out an extremely precise landing on water under threat of death.. this kind of landing on water has never been done without fatalities. On top of that the pilot stayed back to make sure everybody was out. He accomplished something youtube trolls like you couldn't dream of in a million years. That's why you're making the cheap shots and he's the pilot.

  • Making a water landing on the 12-mile long Hudson with calm winds? Meh.

Now if he'd put it down on the 7000ft runway at KTEB, *then* I'd be really fucking impressed. The funny thing is, nobody else would care - none of you would have heard about it and you wouldn't have those great pictures of the plane floating.

Of course the Hudson was the right decision - it was the easier, safer landing.

Sully is also a certified GLIDER instructor. That was probably a big help.

  • Providing that there's no pilot error suspected

The only heroic act, was ensuring everyone else had made it to safety

    before he left the airplane.

Wrong, a JAL flight landed in San Franciso Bay about 35 years ago with zero fatalities.

Please. Go to a library & do some real research. Then, you can talk to the grown-ups.

  • Name 1 in 35 years troll. Dozens of airline pilots with decades of experience are confirming its a feat of immense skill.. the pilot did NOT put the plane down at the same rate of descent or angle as a normal landing. In a normal landing the angle is decided by proper pitch attitude & POWER. With NO power he had to get the aircraft down into a ground effect state & let the airspeed bleed while maintaining a very VERY precise pitch attitude while water is giving a false sense of depth perception.

  • There's very good reasons why professional pilots know this is a extremely difficult feat to master. Just because you never made the effort to do something worthwhile or noticeable in your life doesn't mean you have to downgrade somebody who has actually accomplished that. Ignoring fear and risking death to do an oustanding feat of skill that saves lives is definitely heroic.

  • wow this is incredible not in the air for a long time but everyone survived

  • wow!

    now, lets fly :D
