@Quilwott Actually, the Wii controler was ana amazing controller. It's just that a bunch of games made it feel gimicky by trying use it in ways it just wouldn't work. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is a fine example of how the Wii controler can be used :P

@WhiteboyOver9000 You can play DK Jungle Beat (at least the GCN version) with the GCN controller but it doesn't act as you'd expect, it still acts as some Bongo replacement. I can't really remember all the details but I think you could at least move DK by just using the Control stick which was cool but to jump I think you had to pres L and the clap thing L+R something like that.

I think I would have enjoyed this game more if they really stayed with the classic GC controller. Don't get my wrong, I love DK Games, DK's my fav character of all time and I encourage creativity especially with the WII but it doesn't really fit in this 2D platrofmer game to use the Bongos, I have this game and the bongos and they feel better with DK Konga.

My sister had Donkey Konga for the GC, which is the first game to use the congos. It's basically Guitar Hero, but with bongo drums... it's actually not terrible.

However I’m not this much of a fanboy, Nintendo is pretty much a gimmick company.

Once they run out of gimmicks they are screwed.

Give him some credit for his reviews lol! Not only does he give his opinion on the gameplay mechanics and so forth, he also gives a little history lesson about the game and how it had an effect on the gaming industry.

Although I think he's most of the times less entertaining to watch than Mark, he makes reviews that feel more complete to me. He's definitely NOT annoying though.
