Just like in the note you mentioned, I did glean from your videos that it feels as though a lot of background work was involved. Not a lot of animators put so much effort into research to produce stories, so kudos to you for even someone like you who do it as a hobby. Puts many animation students in my school to shame, haha.

Many successful series/movies are what they are partly due to extensive research done before production. Disney (my fav!) deals a lot in that to support their stories.
