@nobby745 That in my experiance doesn't really matter as the recharge rate on the flares is longer then a Lock on with a stinger, so within the time the Pilot deploys flares you can easily lock on again and fire... i could be wrong but this is what I've being doing and it pays off quite nicely.

how many mines do you get on spawn and can you resupply the mines with the ammo pickup from support class

@WiiAhoy If I remember correctly you get 3 but if you have extra explosive selected you get a couple more to begin with on top of that. I haven't been able to resupply the explosives as yet so that may be a glitch.

As for pilots who are having trouble with Stingers or the IGLA, do not release flares until you hear that warning tone that activates when a projectile is about to hit you. Thiys tone is distinct from the lock-on tone. For helos, it's best to use flares whenever possible since you're screwed if you get locked on. Most engineers have 2-3 rockets and can immediately lock-on after you deploy your flares. Finally, make sure you stay out of range for most of the time to avoid getting traced.

I know some people might already use this tactic.. but for those of you who don't..

When locking onto a Helicopter / Jet with a Stinger track it while locked on for 5 - 7 secs, most of the time the pilot will shit himself and burn his flares before you've even pulled the trigger.. when that happens, fire and get yourself some free points =)
