He himself thinks Social Security is unconstitutional, but realizes that we cannot make drastic changes overnight and must honor our promises to those on social security. I cannot be more clear. Ron Paul's plan is the only one that saves social security, yet allows people aged 25 and younger to opt out of social security and invest the money however they choose.

We're barely 20'th. As far as funding, someone already answered you that a lot of the money would come from ending the wars overseas and using that money to tide over the poor and needy and those on social security. Everyone else leads to a crash. Ron Paul is the parachute. We either land safely or we crash.

From 8:25 to 8:50, Ron Paul CLEARLY says he is the only one with a plan to save social security, and that if we keep policing the world and spending trillions of dollars that we don't have, we will all go broke and everybody will be out on the streets with no programs. With his way, the programs remain intact and the promises are upheld. Everyone else leads to more wars and inflation, which eat away at your social security checks, making life tougher

@MiHiVidz The government isn't the only one in the world who is willing to provide charity to you. But the problem with the government providing it is that the administrative cost is astronomical. Did you ever hear about those charities that hand out 2-5% of the money they receive and the rest is employee salaries etc. Thats what SS is. Look at congressional pay compared to what SS recipients receive. Its outrageous. Believe me brother, there is a better way to help people on SS.

The money we save by ending all of these wars will help repay the plundered Soc. Sec. funds. What he does want to do is create an option for the younger generations to opt out of it if they want to, not take it away from those who on it or who have paid into it already.
