Unfortunately no potatos. Don't know why its got that name since it has beautiful small white flowers all year. Was going to grow Jasmine but its a lot slower & probably wouldn't have provided the same coverage. Gives lots of privacy from the road too. Its Botanic name is Solanum jasminoides so it must be related to jasmine. Has no scent though :(
Yeah, that house does look Swiss. I don't really know what a typical English house looks like.
The house opposite Is a Swiss design, a highly pitched roof so the snow doesn't settle on it. not really typically English but nice all the same. My walking has gone off lately and I thought I'd document a relapse if that's what it is.anyway it is giving the ipad 2 a try out.
I've always loved hedges. I have one but its not the traditional type even though it looks pretty good. Its made from potato vine & is well established. Weaves in & out of a fence made from tree stumps which you can't even see anymore. So the vine takes on the shape of a hedge. Potato vine grows really quickly too.
Hi Nick. Your walking isn't too bad. You looked like you nearly lost your balance at 1 point though. What a nice street, ie trees etc. Is that your house behind you. Looks so typically English. The weather looks nice too:)

Are potato vines, the vines of the potato? If so can you eat the potato? If you can't why is it called the potato vine?
