it makes me MAD and SAD at the same time that they didnt get matt uelman to do diablo 3 music...i dont give a fukk how much $ he wanted or what the problem was, HE IS diablo music...his music is so damn emotional...fukk i hope they get him before the release but diablo 3 is so far off the development cycle that i doubt it....damn it his music is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING...it makes me so emotional that i cant even explain the mixed feelings i get inside jus listining to this 3 or so minutes piece...

It's pretty pathetic that I begin to become very sad when I hear Diablo 2 music. The memories begin to flood back like crazy, and it leaves me with a sad feeling of nostalgia. Sometimes I actually want to cry because I MISS THESE TIMES. And I'm sorry, but Diablo 3 will not be the same :(. Diablo 2 was just so unique...ugh. I could write a book.

I remember when I was a kid me and my boys would all go over to each other houses and stay up all night playing D2 and into the sun came up and would fall asleep to this music on the floor or on the futon with the floor and computer desks littered with empty chip bags, mountian dew and surge cans... man those were some good days.

I just HAD to find this soundtrack! So cool that you posted it...ty ty ty! I came back to D2 after a few years of WOW to play character classes not played previously. The folks at Blizzard North kicked ass off-planet! A dream team of forever notable game coders but cool dialogue and f'ing amazing musical score! I want it all but I particularly love the music below the palace in Act 2. The pulse heightening/sleepy ambiance throughout sets a damn high benchmarch in gaming . Viva the BN crew. TY

omfg when i was fighting with Duriel the first time as a Necromancer i used to be a full-summoner skiled...So i had skeletons skeletal mages and a blood golem so i just beated him a bit than teleported back found some enemies killed em ressed my skeletons and do the same...i heard this song than A LOT.

Yeah, I agree and while we savor the Good ol' Diablo 2 music, we (or maybe just some?) realise that Matt Uelman, the one who created these music... don't work for Diablo 3. So different music. How's that for "doesn't give me the Diablo feel"? The music was one big part in Diablo. :L

Same here. I played the hell outta this game during summers, back when I was in elementary school and junior high. The golden days. Seems games aren't as fun,they're lacking in something today, but yeah. Yeah I'll prolly tell my grand kids something like "You know son, back in 2001, we didn't have no holographic comps or androids, but we sure as hell had Diablo 2, and it was good enough!" I donno. xD
