its nice to see someone knock bahamut down a peg, he is great but in this game alexander is just better, hes ment as a last resort for alexandria so hes pretty much the most powerfull thing ever, and explaining why he cant be used, hes for last resort defense only, sad the poor guy gets blasted all to hell and impaled on the castles sword (seriously why is that thing there) btw the world of FF7 is simply called "the planet" they never call it gaia, and 8 is more related to 3 not 7 or 10

Lastly, if they were of the same caliber in terms of power, Kuja would have never said "That power! I must have it!" (or something to that effect) after seeing Alexander slaughter Bahamut.

Alexander, in this game, is simply more powerful than Bahamut. End of story.

Lastly, they AREN'T AEONS! I'm sick of seeing people call them that. That's FFX people; get it right. In FFIX, they are called EIDOLONS.

In FFIX, Alexander is more powerful than Bahamut. It has nothing to do with elements or rivals. Bahamut was summoned to destroy Alexandria. Garnet and Eiko came together to summon Alexander, which PROTECTED the Alexandrian castle. Thus, Bahamut had to go after Alexander.

In this particular game, Alexander is more powerful simply because he's an incredibly hard summon to call. They need all four pendants/stones in order to summon him. Which is why the girls stones interacted.

I love how they use some things from the old ff in to the new ones.For example Cid,Cid has bin in every ff ever maide,in diferent forms yes but was ther to suport us.Bahmut has bin in some ff before to(ff 7,8,9 etc.)so...good memoris...And they reused one of the coolest caracthers in the hol franchise,Ghilgamesh(ff 4 i think) in ff 8.And of corse the chocobos ho have becum the traiedmark for the hol franchise.I hope that the new one(ff XIII)will have some of thise things

Bahamut SIN is the classification of the Bahamut-Materia summon used in FF7: Advent Children.

I believe it pertains to the fact that the world of FF7 and FF8 is actually Spira, thus providing the template. If the Lifestream really is some collapsed form of the Farplane, then it makes sense a creature of the Lifestream like Kadaj might summon something similar to the original Sin.
