@ turkey5002 Apparently, you have never had a Sears glass cooktop. My Jenn-Aire was wonderful until it just died. Claimed on our warranty via Sears and somehow got suckered into accepting this one. How can a new cooktop be so inferior to an old (10 yrs) one?? I've been a "Barkeepers Friend" user for 30 yrs and it's great on chrome and stainless, etc.; but all that gets the burned on stuff off my cooktop is a razor blade in one of those razor holders - like you can use on windows and stuff.

@sqqqsme I use bar keepers friend as well on my glass top stove. So far it's the best stuff I have used on my cook top. I too use it on our chrome in the house...no more need for brasso on brass either

I have had several smooth top ranges. I found a long time ago that "Barkeepers Friend Cleaner" will clean any cooktop easy and fast no matter haw bad it gets. Comes out to a beautiful shine quickly. Creams don't get it.
