  • damn now I wish I could eat sushi :D

  • Woot, Hajime Sato!! He makes the best sushi in the world!!

If you live in Seattle, you already know this. :-)

    Sushi Whore 4 Life

  • Wow. Thanks for the great tips. All this time I was eating it wrong, hahaha! Next time I will remember your tips and eat it right.

  • @kaybeeyh83 right or wrong ,our shit comes out the same color all the time : /

  • @pogisiG even if our poop comes out the same color, at least I would like to eat it right. Better eating it in right then out wrong.

  • @kaybeeyh83 im sure these afghans and iraqis wouldnt have a problem with this....they would eat me alive if i put hotsauce on myself

  • Ridiculously fantastic accent.

  • then, kinda... UH, and eat it...

  • nice

  • how to eat suhsi take a sushi and put it in your mouthn

  • when the sushi is near his mouth i get the urge to scream at his saying "JUST EAT IT ALREADY IT LOOKS SOO GOOD"

  • I'm loving the tie on the forehead look that guy is rocking!

  • There should be a video to show the Japanese how to eat burgers and hotdogs. Kietchup or mustard?

I say just put the thing in your mouth, if you find it doesn't have enough flavor, dip it in soy sauce the next time. Likewise for the ginger and wasabi.

  • He "utilize" everything lol

  • sushi is a great way to starve yourself in japan, not only does it take 100 gazillion hours to eat but its also expensive!!! so you're on your way to becoming a hobo.

  • lol this is gold

  • I can't help it but I find it very uncomfortable when japanese speak "perfect english" - they sound louder, very forced, almost like they're imitating English-English. However, I like it when they keep their natural speaking rythmn and accent' (like the chef).

  • @fenriz218 Thats why I try to do when i speak in english, I'm none white btw

  • Mashiko in West Seattle, where chef Hajime-san works, is truly incredible. Not only the quality, but the imagination of the chef shows in everything he does. We chose him to make sushi for our wedding reception. Spectacular!

  • Thank you for this video.

  • Lovin' it! I was wondering though, should I clean my palette with the ginger whenever I change a roll?

  • And how do you eat sashimi? Similar at all to the nigiri?

  • finally a great educating video :)

  • I find the pink colored ginger looks really apetising close to the green wasabi, and with any rolls of sushi, it is really colourful and pleasant to the eyes! :)

  • great to see REAL WASABI! WasaaaAAaab)

  • @JakeReptiles I think my friend though he was logged in to his account when he posted that comment. I spell out why when I say it. Lol! And I know the answer to my own question. Lol! But thanks!

  • Do you eat one piece of ginger after each sushi roll to clean the pallete?

  • for me, i do. i find the sushi become more delicious, and (in germany) really good sushi is expensive as hell, so when i order some i eat them in between to be able to get every taste of every sushi. (and to spend a little more time at the table).

  • it will to for ten euro. but order some miso soup before sushi it suits well

  • miso soup is delicious :D

  • Hajime is the MAN. Mashiko is the only place seriously throwing down and doing innovative sushi in Pacific NW. Now I just need to find a way to get him to hire me.

  • i hate when they put alote of soy sauce bcause hello fish taste it daaa i only put like tiny ass drop

  • everyone puts as much as they like. what's your problem troll ?

  • I suppose you can go into a five star American restaurant and use the same fork for every course but don't you feel more confident when you know what is considered appropriate and exactly the purpose of each utensil? This video clip gives excellent tips on the appropriate etiquette to use at the sushi bar so that you can feel confident and maximize your sushi experience.

  • shut up!!!!! its like asking how do u eat a donut?

  • Y can't u just pick it up with you're hands, put it in you're mouth and chew?

  • thats how people eat it

  • @Sublimeroxx You cant pick up sushi with your hands because you will warm it and it will have a different flavor warm

  • @Sublimeroxx because it's wrong. That's why.

  • Thank you!! Now I won't feel so awkward eating sushi. Haha :)

  • Very informative! It is easy to listen to him speak, very good.

  • Great tips!!

    Thanks.
