alhamdulillah i don't think that i cure. if cursing means the F word then nooo.. i can never put that word on my tongue. But iv'e noticed that sometimes I say DARN IT. Its not as bad the F word but I think I shouldn't say that either cuz of course our blessed angels write down every word we say.

• Do you know what the funny thing is that it’s Ramadan now and obviously i refrain from using profanity and then the logic hit me as to why? As if it’s not permissible to use language of that sort during the blessed month then its haram throughout the rest of the year I have now naturally stopped swearing and don’t feel the need to and its then you realise as an observer that the language makes you look nothing but unintelligent and as a Muslim you should constantly be seeking knowledge...

Well, there are certain words that are almost unanimously deemed by most people in a society as a "curse word." The "F" word is an example. So even if many people use these words, they still recognize that they can be very offensive and inappropriate to say as well as unnecessary to prove a point. My theory is that if I can't imagine a Sahabi saying it in a gathering with the Prophet Sal-Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam, then it probably shouldn't be said.

Allah also describes the 2 angels (one on your right, one on your left) in the Qur'aan, Surah 50, verse 18:

ما يلفـظ من قــــــــــــول إلا لديه رقيب عتيد

"Not a word does he (or she) utter, except that there's a watcher right there by you, ready to write it down!"

masha'Allah. We should accustom ourselves to saying (but more importantly living) la ilaha ila lah.

Sheikh Muhammad al-Shareef advised in a lecture every time we fall replace what we normally would say :) with 'subhanAllah' 'Allahu Akbar' 'La ilaha ilah lah', etc.

Tongue will then get used to this dhikr.

Words of course need to be backed up by action!
