Moe syncopation in your lines would hurt. Your ideas line up like soldiers and end up sounding like licks. You shold compose heads; you have a great deal of talent and will make some tremedous contributions someday.
and you should consider using more 'R' s U's and N's in your compositions... your words line up like words with letters missing... imagine if you tried to play an instrument...
I was trying to give you a comment. But since you asked check out my performance of Paganini's Moto Perpetuo on youtube which I recorded in 1991. Just type in my name Ron Lucca takes you there. My performance is yet to be matched on the plectrum guitar without distortion. $100.00 if you match it this year.
Very Natural, talented playing from someone who has been jammin' a great deal and from there has develloped a great Jazz style, thanks for sharing brother, check out my work and feel free to comment, greetings Victor.
Love your lines.... As a 47 year old guitarist that has followed the work of Wes Montgomery for the fifteen years that I have played, you really have the Wes feel/swing down my brother. You demonstrate total command of the instrument. Very Impressive !
Wonderful playing. Where do you get the recording to it without guitar in it, or did you have a combo record it for you? Just wondering, I was looking to do a bit of the same.
its from a jamey abersold book, i believe the one dedicated to wes tunes, but i dont own that one. look at jazzbooks.com, but u should look into band in a box aswell for working out tunes.
You're great!!! I'm a jazz musician myself and I'm tryin hard to be a professional...can you give me any tips (what did you study?? how have you got that easy relaxed swingin pickin?..)
