I would wait impatiently for weeks and months for Jay to come visit his buddy Dave. It was always laugh out loud funny. Nowadays it makes me sad thinking of this. Jay's old Irish Spring bit made me spit up my beer.
@ffrank345 i know u posted ur comment 8 months ago..but seinfeld and leno started to break through the comedy scene around the same time....they just happen to be very similar...taking everyday things and making sense about them
This is September, 1983, when "We got it Made" premiered. Leno's apparently referring to the downing of a Korean airliner by the Soviet Union on September 1, 1983.
Leno is trying to dominate the interview, but he comes across as a little obnoxious. Dave is playing along, but undercuts Leno with droll comments.
