I havn't looked too deeply into this vehicle but there was still another 1000 rpm or so before it would have red-lined. I'm no expert on M5's but it seems they could have gotten another 15mph out of it or so.

Whats the point of running the car to 200mph on a dyno, thats just as stupid as some kid spinning his tires on ice! Also this cant be good for the car cause you arent gettting the air flow through the motor!

generally you have fans setup in front of the vehicle to alliviate that problem.

Whats the point? Ill admit, going into 7th probably wasnt needed, but 6th gear is probably the 1:1 ratio on the E60's SMG, hence the reason for going up to 180mph.

The mechanical drag of the rollers tells you the gearbox drag so you can get flywheel hp and wheel hp.
