Man I just love your organ trio... your drumming is just outstanding!

I'm a drummer myself but not too familiar with jazz though I'm really starting to love it more and more.

Could you give me some starting tips on how to get better at it and learn some neat licks? I can swing for a bit and do some snare displacements but I have no idea how to expand from there!

how would you say the catalina club's snare, mohogany i believe, might compare to a birch and bamboo snare made by dw, specifically the eco x series. im just wondering whether the difference would be significant enough for me to get an entire catalina club jazz kit rather than a shell pack consisting of the bass and two toms. would love your opinion/advice and as always, great playing.

what are the shells like on the catalina club? nice drummin as well your left hand is incredibly solid throughout well done!

Thank you! I think the shells are mahogany, but I'm not 100% on that. I have to say the Gretsch kit is very durable. I have a 64' Ludwig silver sparkle, but id rather drag around a 600 dollar kit that is easy to carry and tunes up quick!
