So, no one should expect it to win. It certainly is not a crappy or ghetto car. Personally, I need a four door car because I have children and don't like bulky SUVs. They use way better quality handbuilt parts and keep the plastic level at minimum and i am sure cadillac is very good quality too but it's just one of those cars that come out of the factory every day.
awd does help on a launch... but as you can clearly see, the cars are already rolling.. lambos have higher revving engines with wider torque and hp bands.
This was a roll-on start so AWD or RWD does not matter. Simply put, CTS-V is quite a bit slower than the Gal. Nothing right or wrong about that and no arguments should be there.

and that's just belgium, in holland for example a cts-v costs 165.000 euro's due to it's extreme c02 tax. that's 30.000 dollars more than a new m5 costs there only because the cadillac is much much moe of a gazz guzzler and in most countries in europe those cars get enormous fines for every gram above 225. i thought about 350 euro fine for every gram to much. that's hy cadillacs are more exotic in europe then ferrari's, there price just doesn't make sense.

you are al saying this in an american point of view because america keeps low tax rates on his own cars in his own country. that's why american cars are so cheap in america compared to european cars. in belgium however, where this was recorded. a cadillac cts-v costs about 120.000 euro's due to much higher taxes and a much higher tax guzzler tax. that's about 170.000 dollars. a lamborghini gallardo cost about 180.000 euro's at the time it was released. about 250.000 dollars(same price as usa)

the gallardo 3350 lbs ... with the bolt on its probably probably 3450 lbs... and 4wd is only good when launched from standstill, at every other point, it is puting down less hp to the wheels, probably 25% less compared to 15% less of a rear wheel drive.. so its actually 472 whp v gallardo's 412 whp approx , a stock gallardo has 370whp :/ an interesting race actually

They use way better quality handbuilt parts and keep the plastic level at minimum and i am sure cadillac is very good quality too but it's just one of those cars that come out of the factory every day.

This was a roll-on start so AWD or RWD does not matter. Simply put, CTS-V is quite a bit slower than the Gal. Nothing right or wrong about that and no arguments should be there.
