You're lucky. Yours is just scared.

My little brothers hamster was nice,then turned mean since the day he took him outa the cage.

He would try to bite anyone that got near.It was very hard to feed/water him.

His teeth would rip into the flesh.No one wanted to handle him.

He even lifted the cage up! We had to tie it down with twist ties and pray he didn't get out.

Well ,he did. We had SEVERAL traps set up due to mice in the house,but he wasn't in any. Although no one liked him RIP COCO

@pickAchoo2U We had to put ties on our hamsters cage 'cuz of that too. He would even try to get out through the entrance at the top.

Search Up Step-By-Step Hamster Bonding. I Found Really Good Tips. The Hamster In The Video Is Probably Scared. Whisper Gently To Your Hamster And Let Them Know That You Love Them. Once They Are Used To Your Voice, Get Them Used To Your Hand. Do NOT Rush Towards Them.

you can't force yourself on him like that, if he's hissing at you while you pet him, back off. stick your hand in the cage and let him smell you if he wants, but don't pet him if he doesnt like it, that will just make him dislike you even more. when he runs out of food, put some food in your hand and hopefully he will come to you. you have to earn his trust, remember that.
