@IzziBella234 I felt that where are they going to put the sponsoring over Micky's, Peter's or Mike's face? The Monkees aired on Antenna TV in my area and they stopped using Kellogg's sponsors on TV.
@PeteRFNY I guess they changed the Apple Jacks probably around two or three decades later. Now it is a picture of an Apple and on the front it says Apple Jacks.
The sponsor usually had the right to post their product(s) or logo in a corner of the screen during the closing credits on TV shows, from the '50s through the early '70s [eliminated in syndicated editions of the same episodes]. Kellogg's was the primary sponsor of "THE MONKEES"; Yardley Cosmetics was the "alternate sponsor".

Why, I do believe the show was sponsored by Kellogg's cereal. The product placement is so subtle, you'd never know it.
