  • i'm doing a stupid research paper and this music helps a lot :)

  • Romantic

  • Hi im in my class.

  • Lovely music. Listening to this while doing homework is the best.

  • Beautiful.

  • 2:15

    jizzed, goodnight.

  • Just getting my plastic room together......

  • Any hetailia fan will know this piece thanks to Austria. B|

  • Did u know chopin was polish ?

  • I'm studying math right now, what about you?

  • i swear no matter how many times i hear this my heart flies and my eyes water ^^ you can hear passion in every note, hehe, ^^ forever in my heart Fryderyk Chopin, when i was 6 i saw a dedication concert to Chopin and i have been playing piano ever since hehe...

  • quelli che han messo non mi piace non capiscono un cazzo di musica

  • my grandma played this for me this afternoon, it is so beautiful.. cant stop listning to it anymore!!

  • beaultiful, simply and fucking awesome!!!!!!!!

  • wavy

  • The only thing that stopped Chopin writing was that he took an arrow to the knee. I know, I'm sorry.

  • @MrTurboMattT Actually, I think it was more the fact that he died. An arrow-inflicted knee does little to stop a musician.

  • @NightHawkmwh yes it does, if it is a Skyrim musician it does.

  • Calms my bones

  • On occasion the world has paused for this.

  • Nice vid! Rubinstein was very gifted

  • "So your anger is Chopin?"

  • close your eyes and enjoy this music...

  • Magnificent!

  • My addiction to the TV show Dexter has ultimately given me a new addiction to Classical music.

In the words of Special Agent Lundy - "It kinda stirs up some dust."

  • @Bouche1985 fucking Dexter is so good

  • Oh Matt Bellamy, thank you for letting me find this.

  • muse

  • pearls before swine

  • An Arturo Fuente, some B and B, and a warm lady in my lap. How divine.

  • Thank you, Special Agent Lundy.

  • Let the young ones be proud of their choice in music. High School is the worst thing you can inflict on a person in a civilized society. Generation after generation broken down and taught to be just as ignorant and dull and ugly as everybody else.

Let those who refuse to relinquish beauty have their counter-culture. Let them be proud of Chopin.

  • @Bryterlayter91 Most constructive comment I have ever seen. You are an illuminated human being. Thank you.

  • @Bryterlayter91 I feel insulted that a person as bigoted as you listens to the same music I do.

Please, come back to Chopin when you have learned to be more accepting.

  • I love this music!

  • This masterpiece got me laid!

  • @0sebastiank0 Yea, I told a chick one time that I wrote this too.

  • @0sebastiank0 Dude, I know that's what Chopin was thinking as he composed it.

  • I can't believe some of you people here. Why can't we listen to the beautiful piece of music without having to hear about your music elitism, and how you it gives you an inflated opinion of yourself?

    Disgusting!

  • I find this easy to masturbate to.

  • Esta música está más cerca de Dios que de los hombres..... Melchor

  • I paused my porn for this!

  • @NDguy191 mute it and watch it to this.

  • @NDguy191 i would give up porn to be able to compose and play music like this :D

  • @NDguy191 why pause? you can watch/listen to both at the same time

  • @Koryo8 he obviously needed to absorb the amazing music

  • @NDguy191 Why pause it? this could only make it more interesting.

  • @NDguy191 XD you made my night ahahahahahah

  • I got brought here by metal. We all gotta admit that, there are so many similarities between metal and classic music. In fact, they both help me proceed as a musician and compose.

  • Chopin's Nocturnes always make me shed a tear. They are SO beautiful, romantic, every note is just where it needs to be, carrying charisma and marvelous atmospheres. For me, it's about passion and the obstacles you face when expressing your love about someone or something. Just superb.

    KKS

  • wonderful

  • *-* amazing..

  • Im 15 and from the UK and ive just finished learning this whole piece... thumbs up if you think a 7 year old asian has done this piece blindfolded, no mistakes, whilst beat-boxing, balanced on his nose, whilst someone canes him.

  • Thumbs up if you agree that fergieD96 is a simpleton trying to stir up pointless arguments about race & stereotypes on this thread.

  • @samuraiyemo

    ya. @_@

  • Best piano music ever

  • Chopin forever. You too in some way.

  • You go man same bs with all this new music but this classical music gives me a image and makes a movie not some dumb bitch talking last damn night or drinking or beating the shit outta someone, stay different and be different. you should be proud to be marked as a individual, not some follower of the present age. Glad you like this music.

  • i got here from dexter

  • Ah yes, the "Kurdt Cobain" of classical music :D welp, minus the violent suicide

  • RIP special agent Frank Lundy

  • Oh,, im sorry ,,,rmannion !

  • Thank you rimannion..

  • a very lovely piece. This actually is what a character in a show I like plays. Funny didn't even mean to find this.

  • Muse - United States of Eurasia

  • This always makes me so relaxed

  • I'm proud that I'm Polish when I listen it.

  • @Choinkowiec

he blood was half french and he lived in france most of his life - the french claim him as their own. hes really both... but i get what youre saying

  • beautiful

  • My mum thinks I'm weird for listening to stuff so beautiful like Chopin, I think she's weird for not listening to this. Age 14 ;)

  • I really hate the fact people of my age just don't have the patience to let this beautiful sort of music in... It's just simply wonderful. My friends really miss something you know.

    love. A 16 year old ;)

  • how hard is this piece to learn? i really love it and i want to learn it but im not sure if my teacher will let me!!

  • @blahidc100

This piece is only challenging at about three points. I learned this piece in my first year of Piano class back in 10th grade. I ended up performing it at a Church in my downtown area and also went to a judging and got Superior :)

All in all, if you love the piano and the music half as much as I did, you will be able to learn this. Don't forget to practice your trills with all fingers!!

  • @trurocker03

you make a perfect point: beauty and complexity are two different things.

No need for adding complex noise over this perfect melody: two hands, one piano and a few notes.

I often regret that today's music (most of it) replaces melody with rythm and noise: silence is also important in music.

(I'm not saying complexity is ugly though: I love Rachmaninov even though I have a heart attack everytime I see one of his partitions XD )

  • Thumbs up if you're here because you heard a bunch of cats outside your window meowing this piece.

  • It's sad that some of you think that listening to Chopin makes you special.

  • @MarimbaDood cuz it does. u know, listen to dubstep if you like. your own life.

  • @Paty787

I'm not saying that I don't love this music; my iPod is filled with instrumental pieces of all eras. I'm just saying that there is no reason for people to flaunt their age or the fact that they're listening to Chopin seeing as there are plenty of people who listen to "classical" music.

  • @MarimbaDood people are obviously doing that because maybe you're not AWARE of this, but I'm 19, and everyone that I know makes fun of me for listening to classical music, Hank Williams, basically anything that isn't popular now. Music NOW is about fuckin bitches, gettin money, poppin bottles, their proud to say how old they are for listening to this kind of music because not many people are introduced to it.

  • @rheannuhh

    well said mate.

  • in 1000 years, MC Hammer will be considered "classical" music. :c

  • @franksaninocencio Take a theory class and learn why it never will.

  • @MarimbaDood You made my day

  • @franksaninocencio A 1000 years!? MC Hammer is a classic now! A classic douche.

  • OMG I LOVE THE TRUMAN SHOW.

No, but seriously, this is an amazing piece.

  • beautiful. i spend evening with music like this unlike my 15-year-old friends. i'm proud of myself :)

  • The first bit of classical music I've gone hunting for. Thanks Muse

  • Thanks for your kindness, Molly. I think you could be a wonderful teacher. Sure.

  • In fact, good teachers have the ability to make you feel interested in things that you previously did not understand. With their encouragement you begin to explore new worlds.

And not only in school or college, but throughout our lives we can learn from others. We must be grateful to those who teach us!

And how not to feel emotional listening to this Chopin´s Nocturno? It arouses our deepest feelings, both bitter and sweet.

  • @aniagain1 I fancy your talking.. Very sweet

  • @mollyhollins but i'm not a teacher

  • my 7th grade music teacher opened my eyes and ears to this type of music along with past genres, while the rest of the class joked or fell asleep i was amazed at the simple yet emotional sound. because of her my world grew a bit bigger, some teachers do make a difference!

  • @ak1ok so listen to Chopin's last works, not this one

  • @ak1ok Same here. I've heard it a while before, but really began to appreciate it when my music instructor Mr. Marovich introduced me to this piece in 8th grade. Let's just say a major change in personality occurred.

  • @ak1ok

I have a similar story from 7th grade but the words of my teacher didn't really sink for another 4 years. Now it's seven years since 8th grade and I have yet to go back and thank him for sharing his passion for this kind of music. I hope you end up reading this Mr. Glenn =]

  • @ak1ok

that is the SAME story for me. 4 years ago, in 7th grade music class. only it was clair de lune - it blew me into another world. ever since ive been a debussy/chopin crazy fanatic. i obsess

  • @ak1ok It's amazing how music can get into our minds and make so beautiful changes. I use to listen this song at night, close to my pillow or getting some wine.

  • Yup, I totally played this for saxophone ensemble.

  • Loved it , please rate my first songs, FNCHY1, thankyou ;)

  • @MrCrazyMunky1 I like to mute my porn and play this over it

  • my neglect to do my math brought me here...thanks chopin:)

  • Music is poetry in its purest form. This piece has said more, without uttering a single word, than a poem manuscript with verses, rhymes and lines ever could.

  • if this song has been listened to all 4 minutes and 27 seconds 5,502,213 times then the total play time is 391,574 hours

  • @TheUnderquakerXBLS not enough

  • it sounds like heaven...

  • hi Austria

  • 127 hours

  • idk this song brings tears to my eyes... it is so smooth and idk it has this weird effetct on me... i just want to lay down on the ocean shore and smoke a cigarette and just listen to this nocturne for eternity... so wonderfull
