Errol and that house were notorious for sex parties. He did haunt it and came to Rick Nelsons daughter with a prediction of Ricks Death. A very dark man. If it wasnt him then its something very evil attaching itself to his memory!
The house burned down after Rick Nelson died. Just saw Tracey on a show and she talked about the hauntings she experienced while living in the house. There are other homes built on or near the site. Interesting to know if there are still hauntings in any of these new homes.
Errol Flynn delivered some of the best lines in movie history. It really doesn't matter if the Hollywood establishment gives him a posthumous Oscar. His fans pay him the ultimate tribute by revering his accomplishments to this day. He's still laughing!
When in high school, back in the 80's, my friends and I used to go up there and hang out.... We used to run around in the tennis courts. Wonder if those even exist...
i just can't believe that people tear down these gorgeous homes that belonged to hollywood legends. joan crawford had an amazing house and they tore that down too. very sad to lose these pieces of history.
@asoberprep ...it didnt burn down, but was demolished. The once remote area is now part of the urban sprawl of LA. On this location Helen Hunt had a huge house built, now owned by Justin Timberlake. Its amazing how in just a few decades this remote wilderness has turned into densely populated community.
@INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION Not it doesnt, this plot now has Justin Timberlakes home home on it. You may want to check out the book about the history of this house calle "Errol Flynn lived here"

@Heartbeat214 It didnt get demolished i saw a story about the house a few days ago. After Flynn died the house was sold to some country singer and his daughter told the story and i guess supposedly the house was cursed and haunted by the ghosts of Errol and his friends. And after living there for so long. One night when they came back to the house they found it up in flames and it burnt down.
He was the BEST ever - there ever was! He was the epitome then and he still is the epitome now and from this day onward. Tell all the silly stories about him nobody believes them who is sound of mind and who knows Errol was a good man and only taken badly advantage of by the media. His only fault was that he never fought the media because of his be believe in humanity who failed him badly!
I worked on Errol's yacht in Seattle during the 1980's. Guess what? There was a mirror between his cabin and the "guest cabin". This is the first time I've heard about the mirror in Mulholland farm - I'm not surprised!!
Brings back fun memories. I was lucky enough to wander up Flynn Ranch Road one day in the mid-80s and get a look at Flynn's old house. Talked to a neighbor too who told me Ricky Nelson was living there at the time. A few months later Nelson died in that tragic plane crash and the next time I stopped by the property Flynn's house had been torn down and only the small "casinio" building remained. I'll have check out the book, sounds interesting.
I love Errol Flynn! But it's interesting to know that he was the first to build a house on Mulholland Dr. and started a chain of celebrities afterwards on that same road and most were alot like him! The bad boys of hollywood- Marlon Brando, Warren Beatty, and Jack Nicholson and so on......
If you like Flynn read "my wicked wicked ways". (his autobiography) It used to be out of print but with technology now it is widely available. Flynn is the patron saint of cum soaked linens.
I can't think of another star who did costume roles so well. In the 1980s I stopped by the Mulholland Farm property. (I think there was a gate barring entry.) It had been razed and someone was preparing a new structure. The original main entrance steps were still there, ending a few feet above the ground in thin air. Flynn's pool or its new replacement was there, and a bare pole with a telephone on it. I thought how perfectly Hollywood: The important things, a pool and a phone.
I have this book, it is beautiful and a wonderful read. All Flynn fans should buy it! You'll feel like you've lived in the house when you finish the book. Very nice video, thanks!
Robert, this is a great clip about Errol Flynn and the book ERROL FLYNN SLEPT HERE. This clip would have been a huge hit at the booking if the equipment was working. I will send the link to everyone and get the word out there . I am very proud to be part of ERROL FLYNN S:EPT HERE and I enjoyed working with you and Mike. Another top notch production from Palidin Communications.

does anyone know if the house wil ever be rebuilt?

The haunting began in 1959? The same year Errol died. Hmmmmmmm?
hemming57 5 months ago
It would have been a far better doc w/o all those film clips; just focus on the house instead of a retrospective of Flynn's films.

@INTIMEFILMPRODUCTION
There is nothing remaining of the original home and it's grounds.
The area was redeveloped and new home built over that site.
Google the name and discover on google earth that the current home is overlaid by a current residence by a teen pop idol.

Ricky Nelsons daughter Tracy Nelson gave a interview for a television show and talked about Mullholland Farms being haunted.
Talked about seeing the ghost of deceased Hollywood Legends and weird unexplainable events that occurred there.
Another piece of information is Justin Timberlake's current home sits on the very spot of Mulholland Farms as of today.

Errol Flynn was The King! He was the best ever!
Still loved and adored 50 years after his death!
Nobody has taken his place til this day and there will never ever be ONE like him. An Errol Flynn is only born once in a Millennium - if so?
