Sums up my memories of VFW dances where I was the only Angelo beside a girl.

It was slow dance parties in the projects in Culver City. Having those times gave me a way different viewpoint that the kids I grew up with.

It started with the records that my brother who died in the mid sixties left in his room, like Come And Go With Me by the Dell Viking and the Cadillacs and Speedoo etc.

I was ten years old and it was '56. I played the radio all night as I slept, I was left with a gift.
