@KinaNafasi Darth Maul saw Quigon Jin as a powerful and worthy opponent, since he had the title of master. It was for that reason he gave it his all. However, because Obi Wan still had the title of padawan, so Darth Maul underestimated his true potential. It was because he underestimated Obiwan that he was slain. If Obi wan already had the title of master, Darth Maul would've fought him more seriously. Then again, Obi wan did surpass his master. Quigon admitted that part once.
@KevinVonk1 I never thought about it that way. Somehow i wish Lucas had included this in the movie in an understandable way. Glad someone got it though Thanks.

übrigens darth maul ist nicht gestorben er hat überlebt (oder?) ausserdem ist er der einzige sith, der einem sympatisch ist und der richtig mit dem lichtschwert umgehen kann ( also bitte, die lichtschwertkämpfe nach episode drei.. sind mehr zeitlupenmässig. Haha schon wie der kanzler sein lichtschwert wie eine axt herumschwingt pfff... star wars ansich is aber genial
@CUBETechie es ging ja zuerst um einen sith namens Darth vader, alias anikin skywalker. zuerst wurde dessen geschichte verfilmt (darth vaders) und dann.. naja... die vorgeschichten. die episoden 4-6 erzählen die geschichte von darth vader und dem Imperium, die episoden 1-3 sind eben die "vorgeschichten", die von den seperatisten oder der KUS ( konföderation unabhängiger systeme), den Klonkriegen und der fall der alten republik und der Jedi erzählt.
