@Cpromeos Also, do not use the tables for the other games, the materials changed. You need: 8 dragonite ore, 2 pale bones, 24 carbalite ore.

The carbalite is Online-only.

@Cpromeos You need online materials and HR1, which you get playing online.

The materials can be gotten by playing Burango's patches, for HR1 you need to introduce a Gamebreaker code.

If you need info just go to the Monster hunter dos board at gamefaqs.

oh man...those days where great... remmember getting my tachi blade!!! ...the one before getting the first eager cleaver (ive always loved that weapon....first in monster hunter as a GS and then in Dos as a katana....(LS) ....but i get stucked with the first khezu...lol...after that....y lose ma Memory Card...so i had to buy a new one...(so i did a couple of weeks ago...) and im starting again with the monster hunter (1st one) and im seing your vids :D

using CB you can fight upper (online grade) monster. by yourself. they tougher 2-3 time from the offline monster. but the benefit. you can upgrade your S level armor

i still play it and much more fun than the Mh 1

this game is what they based most of frontier on, im getting it next week and im so exited to finnaly get to play it XD there was so much content in this one compare to all the others aside frontier itself. and the stuff in this vid i had no idea about. that and the pvp monster arena battles XD ive been playing mhp3rd but i gotta say this one is better, (im hr6 useing worlds end gunlance)

MH2 really raised the bar on the MH experience. I wish some of it's features were carried over to MH3: versus mode, seasons, connectibility to PSP, real time day/night/season change offline, upgradeable home offline, eat meals in one's house, villager-requested quests offline, WANTED board, non-arena training quests, branching paths for armor upgrades, gather your own ingredients for meals during quests, triple item combonations.

Remembering all this makes me want to play now!

Well upgrading armor with Monster parts just makes more sense. I mean how's a sphere suppose to aid in armor development anyway? Monster Hunter's not PSO, there are no photon based technologies in play here. I never had this particular game but I loved the idea that you could create your own stuff without having to constantly wait for an enemy to drop the weapon/armor you need. That's what got me into the franchise to begin with.

I love every single monster hunter game but this was just special. I hope capcom takes that list you made and creates a new monster hunter game with it. (You can do arm wrestling in mhfo already =))
