While Sarah Chalke (Elliot) spoke really good German in that ep, the "German" patient was saying something that didn't make any sence. German fans keep leaving comments like "What is he saying?". @PetrKL21 true...romania may not be the most advanced country in the world but we've had some pretty important people in history of our own (n/a george.e palade or nicolae paulescu to name a few) but that doesn't mean we're not another victim of american ignorance...they (and even some british morons) think we're an arab country or that we consist only of peasant villages with livestock roaming the street. Come on, those jokes are not meant to be offensive, I dare you to watch the whole Postal movie, that's offensive. And it is funny because of the play on words with the couple. Besides, stereotypes are indeed funny as long as they are not too provocative, in my opinion. In Scrubs there have been jokes about all kinds, Italians, Scots, Irish, German, Turks, Pakistani, Chinese,... and a lot about Black, Gay and M.D.s... so... let's just say it, they are quite fair towards everyone.

@askar7 I'm not surprised. Look at the episode with the German patient (season 2). While Sarah Chalke (Elliot) spoke really good German in that ep, the "German" patient was saying something that didn't make any sence. German fans keep leaving comments like "What is he saying?". It's not just Scrubs - Hollywood doesn't care about other cultures and laguages.

Eliott is far more successfull when she is acting as a German. J.D. could have performed much better. How hard is it for J.D to pronounce a simple sentence with a correct accent. After all he is an actor. It makes no sense when a Turk also needs subtitle when he is supposedly speaks Turkish.
