What most people know as the KKK is Albert Pike, the ex Sovereign Commander of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
Haha, you take a very biased outlook on this. Yes, they were trying to change the South, but it needed to be changed. Slavery and The Black Codes were horrible programs, and that is what the Republicans had to do. The South isn't going to rise again, because it never did in the first place.
