I believe the first to get the beatdown wins as long as the sheild are low enough to be a kill. Just like in halo 2, it doesn't make sense for two people to run at each other and knock each other out. Although it may seem fair, the kill should be based off of the skill on who hit RB first to get the kill. If hit at the same time then I do believe both players should get the kill.

On halo 2 any idiot could snipe, but on H3 atleast it takes some sort of skill to play.

All i did was state my opinion, wasn't expecting a reply. But on top of my comment, I believe bxring and double shotting makes the game more difficult. H3 is too easy, and the only thing more difficult in H3 that H2 is sniping. And sniping isn't even hard at all in H2 and H3. I just believe the leading bullet idea makes it harder for distant shots. But other then that it isn't much different. And I believe matchmaking and custom MLG is some of the only options available retard.

What makes Halo 2 so much harder is the speed of the game because of both a faster gameplay (switching guns, then shooting for example, or faster walking by default compared to H3) and because of the legit exploit of glitches such as BxR, BxB and double shot- who speed up the game to the max.

Basically, in Halo 2 everything comes down A LOT more to personal skill while Halo 3 relies on team skill for the most. You just can't be a one man army with just a br no more.

H2 took more skill. Notice how there was ONE dominant team throughout all of Halo 2? Notice how the teams, even though Str8 raped a good amount, in H3 are winning tournaments randomly and then do bad in the next tounies?
