yea i retract that- I did a little research and f86's were drones as well- so were f-105's which the f-4 replaced as the qf-4. Since this is a continuing trend pretty soon f-14's 15's 16's- depending on which are retired 1st may end up as live targets.

The USAF is already planning on convertng the F-16s to QF-16s as they start to retire. Can you imagine the day they send F-22s up as QF-22s?

these planes are old planes that are too outdated to be used by army like old vietnam f4's ans are not that expansive as a 20million f15.
