  • FUNNY & VERY USEFUL - THANKS.

  • u make it really interesting and still i can learn some points. thanks! I am going to have a call to one organization i really like to work with tmr~

  • lmfao :D i feel this is how most of the sudden interview calls go :D

  • I got called up on a phone interview at a time when I wasn't expecting, and they asked all these questions: what would you do in these situations?! It's really hard to fake actually caring, but I think I did alright, got called in for a group interview. Hope there aren't any other candidates =)

  • I learnt that lesson the hard way too. Ever since then I keep a big page of any questions they may ask with bullet pointed answers below them so if I get stuck for words or tongue tied I just read it out.

    :)

  • Why is it you that have to jump through flaming hoops just to get a job nowadays?

  • Is it weird that this actually helped me or my phone interview?? Hahaha thanks!!

  • u do hv a great sense of humor...consider a career in acting instead

  • omg i was the same way!!! i never een heard from them again they didn't even email me to say they rejected me! so i went in and asked if i could have a 2nd chance on doing it he sed he's try to see what he can do =/ im a nervouse reck!

  • omg i was the same way!!! i never een heard from them again they didn't even email me to say they rejected me!

  • I was went to an interview and, trying to impress, wore my roommate's trench coat. The interview well unitil i got home and realized i was not wearing the same coat i had left the house in. Worst interview experience ever.

  • Ha ha ha! That was a hoot.,

  • How many times did you say public?

  • In your defence, the person interviewing you is obviously not a trained interviewer and some moron reading from a script because a PROPER interviewer (very few these days) relaxes you in order to find out more about you, rather than interegates you, especially for a job in a call centre, its not bomb disposal.

I think you need help getting your best points across and you lack confidence, BUT, i think you actually done well not to be hired as that company you spoke to are a joke.

  • If this is legit and not a joke, a few things

First of all, no serious company gets YOU to PHONE them to conduct an interview. Straight away that tells you they are a mickey mouse outfit.

You lost it straight away at the 1st attempt by the way, when you failed to demonstrate any knowledge of the company's background, you dont have to know their financial stats, but you should know exactly what service they are providing that is relevant to your role.

  • Great video, Falletron! I have a telephone interview tomorrow, and your video has given me some ideas. Thanks!

  • This made me laugh, i have one of these tomorrow. I've written tonns of questions with answers down on a couple bits of paper, hoping they'll come in useful. I come off awful in interviews, i never really have any answers x]

  • HAHAHAHA. I hate it when they ask the same question two different ways.

  • omg i hate when they ask me a question, i answer it & they just get silent like they're expecting more lol and when they ask questions that are so much alike you wanna use an answer you've already used, but you can't.. haha that sucks! this video made my day.. so funny! :))

  • Well, I am Italian ... I am going to have a phone interview next week with a company in London ... 1) London accent 2) 9 month old baby girl 3) loud husband ... i am not that confident ... don't wanna think about it!

  • What a spoof

  • Man I just had a phone interview that went the same way! I'm waiting on my rejection email! hahaha

  • Hahaha, good luck. They're stressful, aren't they?

  • don't give up

  • was that your impression of sarah palin? alaska!

  • It was :D I went through a brief obsession of Sarah Nova's impression.

  • I'm such an idiot - SARAH Nova? Clearly I meant Lisa.

  • hahahhahahhahaha

  • Alaska? lol

    greet interviewer's hair :P

  • Lol I hate it when they ask the same question but make it out that it is something different.

  • i think you'd be great for the job you managed to repeat your self pretty well :L

  • i'm going thought my favs trying to delete some cause i think i have to many. this is in my favs. and its NOT EVER going to be deleted, lol.

  • I have the threadless shirt you're wearing, its one of my favourites.

    your nervous face is funny.

I've been on an interview like that, I don't understand what more they could get from repeating the question.

  • Lol I loved the interviewer's hair :-)

  • omg the exact same thing happened to me with future shop, haha. Phone interviews are lame. lol.

  • The one with the spiky hair looked and sounded JUST like you do. And How did you get that footage from the bank?

  • Ghostnet :P

  • LOL telephone interviews are horrible.

2 working days they got back to you, they took 2 weeks to reject me D:

  • LOL Alaska!

Have you seen LisaNova's stuff? xD

  • Yeah :D That bit at the end of the Salin Palin video is so funny - me and my friends quote that video at each other all the time.

  • 'Salin Palin'? Lol.

Really like all your videos by the way xD

I'm from Glasgow too, or near enough..how's that for a useless piece of information?!

  • Oh God, rhyming typos?! I need help...

I'm surprised by how many Scottish YouTubers there are...

  • Haha. It's probably because we're all forced to stay indoors due to the weather and spend all our time online.

  • somehow i think you're way too good for a call center job ,

you can make better use of your talent elsewhere

  • I am not too good for any place that would be paying me what they would have been :P

  • oh my life that is hillarious.

    what a bunch of dummies.

  • Don't worry - you might not have gotten this job, but I think the Three guy / interviewer might lose this one too; tearing up the notes before getting processed? Tsk, tsk!

  • SOLD!

  • HaHa i wish job interviews would go like that. At first i thought u were serious till i'm like, yikes same guy same accent. lol

  • haha r u talking on an ipod touch?

  • Hehe, no but I wouldn't put it past me! It's an iPhone :)

  • you were on an ad :D

  • I...was?

  • this is AWESOME!

    faved!

  • ahaha, "Don't be nervous" XD

  • Eesh. It might help to do some research and also think up a load of crap to say before the interview. Although, you probably know that and were just being lazy :P I'm helping! *stupid look*

Also, your hair is epic. You should use that to your advantage in job interviews: "I may not have any experience, but CHECK OUT THESE WINGS!" or "If you don't give me the job I'll stab you in the eyes with my enormous hair spikes!"

  • I had several stock answers prepared, I just didn't get to use half of them. It wasn't -quite- as repetitive as in the reenactment, but the interview was still far shorter than fifteen minutes...

Puncturing the eyeballs of your prospective employer: good interview etiquette?

  • Yes, if they'll give you a job and let you keep it. Take a cue from Fight Club.

  • iphone, *drool*. Nice shirt as well :P

I like how your call center guy was the same as your video about getting out of your phone contract, good continuity..

I also applied for a few jobs today, but none of the places I applied at seemed to enthused. Good luck on getting the job! :)

  • Hehe, it was my first Threadless buy. No one ever knows what a haiku is when I wear it though. I need better cultured friends :P

I updated the video description with the bank's response. It was expected...
