I got called up on a phone interview at a time when I wasn't expecting, and they asked all these questions: what would you do in these situations?! It's really hard to fake actually caring, but I think I did alright, got called in for a group interview. Hope there aren't any other candidates =)
I learnt that lesson the hard way too. Ever since then I keep a big page of any questions they may ask with bullet pointed answers below them so if I get stuck for words or tongue tied I just read it out.
omg i was the same way!!! i never een heard from them again they didn't even email me to say they rejected me! so i went in and asked if i could have a 2nd chance on doing it he sed he's try to see what he can do =/ im a nervouse reck!
I was went to an interview and, trying to impress, wore my roommate's trench coat. The interview well unitil i got home and realized i was not wearing the same coat i had left the house in. Worst interview experience ever.
In your defence, the person interviewing you is obviously not a trained interviewer and some moron reading from a script because a PROPER interviewer (very few these days) relaxes you in order to find out more about you, rather than interegates you, especially for a job in a call centre, its not bomb disposal.
I think you need help getting your best points across and you lack confidence, BUT, i think you actually done well not to be hired as that company you spoke to are a joke.
First of all, no serious company gets YOU to PHONE them to conduct an interview. Straight away that tells you they are a mickey mouse outfit.
You lost it straight away at the 1st attempt by the way, when you failed to demonstrate any knowledge of the company's background, you dont have to know their financial stats, but you should know exactly what service they are providing that is relevant to your role.
This made me laugh, i have one of these tomorrow. I've written tonns of questions with answers down on a couple bits of paper, hoping they'll come in useful. I come off awful in interviews, i never really have any answers x]
omg i hate when they ask me a question, i answer it & they just get silent like they're expecting more lol and when they ask questions that are so much alike you wanna use an answer you've already used, but you can't.. haha that sucks! this video made my day.. so funny! :))
Well, I am Italian ... I am going to have a phone interview next week with a company in London ... 1) London accent 2) 9 month old baby girl 3) loud husband ... i am not that confident ... don't wanna think about it!
Don't worry - you might not have gotten this job, but I think the Three guy / interviewer might lose this one too; tearing up the notes before getting processed? Tsk, tsk!
Eesh. It might help to do some research and also think up a load of crap to say before the interview. Although, you probably know that and were just being lazy :P I'm helping! *stupid look*
Also, your hair is epic. You should use that to your advantage in job interviews: "I may not have any experience, but CHECK OUT THESE WINGS!" or "If you don't give me the job I'll stab you in the eyes with my enormous hair spikes!"
I had several stock answers prepared, I just didn't get to use half of them. It wasn't -quite- as repetitive as in the reenactment, but the interview was still far shorter than fifteen minutes...
Puncturing the eyeballs of your prospective employer: good interview etiquette?
FUNNY & VERY USEFUL - THANKS.

If this is legit and not a joke, a few things

Yes, if they'll give you a job and let you keep it. Take a cue from Fight Club.

iphone, *drool*. Nice shirt as well :P
I like how your call center guy was the same as your video about getting out of your phone contract, good continuity..
I also applied for a few jobs today, but none of the places I applied at seemed to enthused. Good luck on getting the job! :)
