If u do go with surgery dont be scared.  I had surgery on my scoliosis and i got my self really scared and paranoid but everything went fine. Good luck!!

i have scoliosis too, not as bad as this girl on the video. arwen is it? but pretty bad. im "supposed" to have surgery, but we found this dorn method. therapy, thatll correct it. i know a lot would comment here saying no it doesnt work blahblah. maybe it doesnt work for some, its been working for me tho. not suggesting you dont get surgery and start dorn, not suggesting you get surgery either. im suggesting you re search and see whats best for you...oh and talk to yr parents too :)

I had the surgery. Her case is very serious. She is much braver than I was. It was 14 years ago. I was 14. In the future, she is going to be FINE! I run and walk EVERYDAY and feel great. With the rods on my spine!

itd amazing how many people actaully have scoliosis in a pretty bad curve....yours was bad i hope the surgery went well im just living with my curve but im no where near as bad as that though i had 2 years of a day brace which was pretty darn bad and i still live with the "hunch"

I've had surgery to correct my scoliosis. I had an S shaped curve. My main thoraco-lumbar curve measured 50 degrees. My sister also has scoliosis. She has a C shaped curve measuring 15 degrees. Check out my videos. There is also a support forum for scoliosis. Its w w w . scoliosis-support . org (take away the spaces). I am having 22 more ops for mine. I just want to say good luck!!!
