@polopowers1 You need to read John 17:20-23, it clearly states it's a unity not a trinity, we can all be one with God just like Jesus..therefore it can't possibly be a trinity.
(2) Also, read Genesis 18, about how Yahweh appeared to Abraham. He appeared as "three men" to whom Abraham bowed to the ground before and offered service to. It is clear that the trinity is in the Old Testament, which dismisses anyone who thinks it's some new testament myth made up by Christians.

There are many angels in heaven, the fact that God appeared with 2 others does not mean God is 3 people, it just means he had 2 others with Him, it also simply says that He does not work alone, that is very clear when God worked His miracles through Moses, God does not work alone, that is what Genesis 18 proves.

If the Trinity is a theological fact & represents the truth from God, surely Jesus would have introduced it to his audience. He had ample opportunity.

"Jehovah will send Me...and then you will know that I am Jehovah" Two Jehovahs working together. Same as in Genesis 19:24. I went to an evangelical Bible college and was taught the mainstream teaching on the Trinity. What I sometimes wonder is: if the Trinity is not explicitly stated in the Bible, how can you prove it is true using the Bible? I have often wondered about your last question too: if Jesus is fully God, how come he stated he did not know the time of his second coming? Another one that always baffled me was Jesus' prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. If Jesus is fully God was he praying to himself?

My head? Were not talking about words, were talking about the application of personal pronouns to the Holy Spirit who is a person. You really need to learn the Greek grammar if you wish to actually sound a little smarter. Jesus could have called him an "it" in the language but he didn't he used a masculine form which is only used to a person. The Holy Spirit talks and commands. He teaches and comforts. Never in ancient Judaism did they consider the Holy Spirit a thing or it. Learn your history.

(2) Also, read Genesis 18, about how Yahweh appeared to Abraham. He appeared as "three men" to whom Abraham bowed to the ground before and offered service to. It is clear that the trinity is in the Old Testament, which dismisses anyone who thinks it's some new testament myth made up by Christians.

The fact that Christ PRAYED to a higher being (Matt 26:39, Luke 6:12) is sufficient proof that he is NOT God as God doesn’t indulge in doing prayers.
Jesus is NOT the only son of God as God has sons by the tons (Gen 6:2, 4; Exodus 4:22; Jeremiah 31:9; Job 1:6, 2:1, 38:7).

If the Trinity is a theological fact & represents the truth from God, surely Jesus would have introduced it to his audience. He had ample opportunity.
He would have said something like “Hear O Israel! The Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Spirit is God, but they are not three Gods but one God”. Did he? NO!

John 1 tells us that Jesus is God. also, we don't know all the things that the apostles said that made the jews want to kill them but i'm fairly certain saying Jesus was God was one of them since multiple times the new testement says He is. I could say more but I honestly doubt it would do any good. you would probably just say I'm acting on fear based logic. while i would like to ask you where is your fear? because the Bible makes it clear that we are to fear God.

If you say God is One, and then speak of Jesus, then you are saying Jesus had some separation of being a lesser person than God, even saying so in the qualitative sense, if not just the material sense. I went to an evangelical Bible college and was taught the mainstream teaching on the Trinity. What I sometimes wonder is: if the Trinity is not explicitly stated in the Bible, how can you prove it is true using the Bible? I have often wondered about your last question too: if Jesus is fully God, how come he stated he did not know the time of his second coming? Another one that always baffled me was Jesus' prayer in the garden of Gethsemane. If Jesus is fully God was he praying to himself?

This guy is obviously clueless about what Trinitarians believe. If God speaks as singular its because God is ONE. Meaning ONE in nature if the Son speaks he speaks for the God head in General and the same goes for the Father and the Holy Spirit. If the Trinity meant 3 Gods than you would be right but we don't believe that we believe in One God in Nature in 3 Persons. I certainly don't think Genesis.1:26 is referring to the trinity!! That's for sure!!
Plus, not everything in the Bible is meant to be taken literally!! In the Bible there are a lot of parables, metaphors, storytelling etc... Not everything is literal!!

God is the Father, Yahweh. Yahshua is the Son of God, Yahweh. The Holy Spirit is the breath of God, the Ruach. The Ruach is not a self controlling deity by itself. It is the power of God. The idea of the trinity was actually made by the catholic church. But im not gonna condemn anyone on their belief.

Thank you!! I have read the Bible many times and the first thing I noticed that bothered me was that there was no early rapture anywhere to be found in the Bible, then I started realizing that the idea of the trinity did not make sense with what I was reading.

My head? Were not talking about words, were talking about the application of personal pronouns to the Holy Spirit who is a person. You really need to learn the Greek grammar if you wish to actually sound a little smarter. Jesus could have called him an "it" in the language but he didn't he used a masculine form which is only used to a person. The Holy Spirit talks and commands. He teaches and comforts. Never in ancient Judaism did they consider the Holy Spirit a thing or it. Learn your history.

Jesus said, the Father gives the Holy Spirit to those that ask Him. Luke.11:13 - the Holy Spirit precedes from GOD our Father, it's not another person!!!
The Holy Spirit is the power, truth, anointing etc... that comes from GOD!!! In other words, it's the way GOD accomplishes his will, by means of His power(Spirit).

Not one Greek scholar agrees with your ridiculous view of the Holy Spirit. Your Watchtower view has no basis for anything.
