how is he being a hipocrit? obviously the former of your argument is preferable, but in reality its become a requirement instead of a preference. it shouldn't be required that your singer is attractive to sell an album. that's what they're trying to say...that in order to be truly successful nowadays you need to be attractive and mildly talented. we focus too much on aesthetics and too little on actual skill and value. personally, I honestly don't care what the singer looks like.
