I remember when Anderson was promoting Rushmore, he went to Austin in a school bus or something to promote the movie at a West Campus bar, Cain and Ables. I wanted to go meet him and had a lab right down the street but decided not to because the bar was a "frat bar" and I figured any filmmaker who would promote a film there would have to be a jackass. i walk by this property every day on my way to work. i've lived in Hamilton Heights on Convent Ave for almost five years. I love it. 7 minutes to midtown on the D, 1200SF apartment for not a lot of rent, the food is cheaper at the grocery store, it's like living in Brooklyn without being bridge and tunnel.
I don't know how people can hate on Stiller. Yea he's done some of those movies he'd probably like to forget, but a lot of actors have done those movies as well.
I've been there... it was magic.
